Backing exceptional founders is a privilege. Getting to do it twice with a close friend you hold in such high regard is something else entirely. We’ve known Amit for over a decade, since our partnership with @datadoghq, where he spent 13 years helping build one of the defining cloud companies of the era, first as CPO and later as President. His technical depth, product intuition, and integrity left a lasting mark on those who worked with him, including us. He later joined ICONIQ as a Partner, where we had the privilege of working alongside him in a different chapter and seeing that same thoughtfulness and ambition up close. When AI reached an inflection point, he felt called to build again. We didn’t hesitate. Today, we’re proud to share that we incubated Standard Template Labs at ICONIQ and are leading the Seed round, rebuilding service management from first principles with AI that can help reason over enterprise context.
