You don’t have to support abortion. You’re allowed to feel uneasy about it. You can dislike it. You can wrestle with it. Those emotions are yours. But if your real goal is fewer abortions, that starts with prevention.. comprehensive sex ed, affordable birth control, and healthcare that reduces unintended pregnancies. What isn’t okay is shaming or dehumanizing someone for their decision. You don’t get to strip away someone’s rights because their choice makes you uncomfortable. Your personal feelings don’t override another person’s control over their own body. You don’t have to agree with abortion. You do have to respect a woman’s right to make that decision safely and legally.

If abortion is illegal because "sex has natural consequences," then liver transplants for alcoholics and lung transplants for smokers should be illegal too because consequences of smoking/drinking darling are so consistent. Go argue with the wall.

“No one is forcing you to work at that job you hate.” I think you’ll find the threat of starvation and homelessness is fairly coercive.

OH MY GIRL is set to make their comeback within the first half of 2026.

Valentines Day can be hard when you’re walking through an unwanted season of singleness. I was single for most of my 20’s and have never forgotten the Valentine’s Day an unsuspecting Dunkin Donuts employee made me ugly cry. I had run in Dunkin Donuts, alone, around dinner time to grab a cup of coffee. The guy behind the counter took my order, looked me up and down, and said (with his most endearing Philly accent), “Girl, why are you alone on Valentine’s Day?” I was already feeling super insecure and asking myself that question. I wanted to say “If I knew the answer I wouldn’t be here” but instead blurted out “I don’t know,” grabbed my coffee, and ran to my car where I promptly burst into tears. Little did I know, a few months later I’d meet my husband while serving with @MercyShips halfway around the world. We’ve have now been happily married for almost 16 happy years. Life can change on a dime. You never know what good things might be just around the corner. For anyone struggling today, I pray you find joy and purpose in whatever season you’re in and that your heart is filled with the hope that tomorrow could be the start of something new and beautiful.
