woke up this morning to $TUT being listed on @binance
it's definitely pretty cool but i don't think many of you truly appreciate the significance of this, so let me tell you some @tutorialtoken lore
did you know this token was created on @four_meme_ by @YerasylAmanbek and it sat at under $10k market cap for almost 2 days? That's right, if you followed Yera on LinkedIn or Twitter you could have bought 1% (worth $400k right now) for under $100!
Yera himself did not actually end up keeping any of the tokens from the deployer, 5% of total supply was burned, and~4.5% was sent to @cz_binance who currently holds ~$2mil worth of the token. Due to this, I believe $TUT has one of the most decentralized distributions ever.
$TUT was also fully community ran. Everyone in the "team" was just a normal community member/token holder who @midnightcrypto (Jon) put together in a group. He told me that Yera is the real deal, and he was gonna run this to get listed on Binance. After being jaded by so many scams on Solana, I was skeptical, but I followed through because I trusted Jon, and here we are today!
so, why is all this significant? Because it goes to show that anyone can make it on BNB Chain, as long as you keep building and keep persisting. We had $0 budget, $0 treasury, no team, no market maker, no manipulation/insiders. Just some strangers on the internet found each other and built an 8-figure market cap token, and none of this would have been possible without persistence, and a supportive community. In fact, it took 40 days for $TUT to really break out but because it took this long it really helped smooth out the distribution charts! In fact, I held 3% of supply at one point but I was left with only 0.5% by the time it hit $2mil, and I'm sure many people had similar stories. We don't want whales holding 1% when we get to $100m+. Do I regret selling? Sure, but I also think if I didn't sell we wouldn't have gotten to where we are today, so in the end it all kinda works out!
on an interesting side note, this would have likely never happened without BNB Chain's liquidity support initiative. $TUT won $200k liquidity support in the first week's competition and this was in my opinion, pure luck. We had no market makers, no volume manipulation, so nothing was planned, but $TUT happened to be just rank 11 by a very slim margin on the weekly charts and another project got disqualified, pushing $TUT to rank 10! I don't really believe in fate or destiny, but damn if anything didn't happen the way it did, we would not be here today.
