This is exactly why platforms from within the culture exist. When mainstream outlets cover grime, the research often isn’t there. Using the wrong image when reporting someone’s death isn’t just a mistake — it shows how disconnected parts of the media still are from the scene. @DailyMail @guardian why don’t you just hire people from the culture, and not a “Token”, someone who actually knows the scene.

Unfortunate reports emerged this morning that grime artist and producer Dot Rotten, real name Joseph Ellis-Stephenson, has passed away. He was widely recognised as one of grime’s early pioneers, known for his work as both an MC and producer during the genre’s formative years. AS A YOUNG MAN, IF YOU ARE BUILDING WEALTH STAY AWAY FROM LOVE In 2020 one of my female friends was so good to me that she thought we could end up together but it never happened She was a very good friend, in fact we talk often and she often buys me gifts and as my custom I always reciprocate the same thing towards her. One major thing I did for her was to change her phone and a lot more. She was using a bad phone that the phone can barely do anything serious. I just randomly called my phone dealer and asked him to supply me a phone for her and she was damn happy. Fast forward to when I was launching my company in mid 2020 since she is into catering service I told her to make small chops and surprisingly she decided to add cake to it. When I saw it I didn't let it slide, I asked her after the event why she added cake to my order and she said she chose to contribute and that was when the whole thing became interesting. I asked her about her intentions and the be frank she said she loves me and I told her I am not ready for love now. My focus is on my company and how I want to see things through. I went ahead to asked her when is she planning to settle down and she said the same year. I told her no signal cos I still have a lot ahead of me. She got angry and she stopped talking to me and she also blocked me. Recently something happened, i recently started promoting my Air B&B business and she saw one of the ads and she immediately messaged me that I should borrow her 350k to complete a payment. I immediately turned it down not cos I can't help her but cos I realized she had blocked me all along and she only unblocked me because of her request. Did I do wrong for turning down her request ? Did I do wrong for not helping her ?
