But I think you misunderstood his argument, if Harry Maguire tried to dribble 10 people every time he got the ball he would eventually succeed once but United would concede 10 goals a game and get relegated.

Keeping aside the terrible take, it got me thinking about what football is. Every game, players try hundreds of ways to get closer to goal for a chance or shot, resulting in a small amount of goals, sometimes none. "Trying repeatedly" is probably the essence of the game itself.

I’m glad the 9 minutes of added time also didn’t go unnoticed. That nonsense has been happening all season against us when we’ve been the ones holding on to a result. 8+ minutes every time we’re ahead and 5 at most when we’re chasing a goal. It’s corrupt.
