School Proprietor Who Flogged Student for 2 Hours, Poured Dirty Water on Him, Stepped on His Head & Humiliated Him Publicly, Now Sued After 10 Years! A former student of Valencia College, Akobo, Ibadan, has dragged the school's proprietor, Engr. Morakinyo Goodness (@valenciaibadan), to court over a brutal incident that happened on September 13, 2016. According to the lawsuit filed today (March 18, 2026), the proprietor allegedly: - Summoned the student and his classmates to the dining hall over a WhatsApp message, where the student supposedly called him "mumu". - Ordered the student to remove his school shirt and lie on the bare floor. - Had cleaners pour two buckets of water on him. - Flogged him repeatedly with canes for about two hours (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.). - Forced him to roll on the muddy, wet ground during lunch in front of students and staff. - Kicked him, placed his foot on his head and denied him lunch. - Later poured a bucket of dishwashing waste over his head. - About a week later, he called him to the office, made him strip and showed off the scars and injuries to another person as a way to further humiliate him. The student claims the entire ordeal was degrading, caused serious physical harm and left him publicly humiliated. He is now seeking justice through a fundamental rights enforcement action for violation of his right to human dignity.
