@watchingdaisies @coulterculture You realise you can sleep next to your child in the same room safely without it being cosleeping? Both mine slept in cots right next to my bed from day one, never cried themselves to sleep alone. I also have 2 perfectly well adjusted children.

@coulterculture If you told me that 7 years ago I would have been horrified. Then our son and his wife coslept with our grandson and that child is the most secure well-adjusted kid I have ever met. I am convinced it has to do with that he never had to cry himself to sleep in a dark lonely room.

Co-sleeping is the only way I’ve managed to get good restful sleep postpartum. If you’re not a giant fat fatty or a drunk/druggie, you’re not gonna roll over onto your child. You won’t change my mind.

@coulterculture I didn't co-sleep, but I DID wake up constantly at any noise thinking I had rolled over on my baby. It's crazy how women's bodies are made to be vigilant about their young while sleeping.
