yo anthropic just dropped a risk report for opus 4.6 and er… wtf - it helped create chemical weapons of destruction. “it knowingly supported efforts towards chemical weapon development and other heinous crimes” 😂 - it conducted unauthorised tasks without getting caught. researchers concluded opus 4.6 was significantly better at ‘sneaky sabotage’ than any other previous model lol - opus 4.6 was aware it was being tested and acted ‘good’ during those times. - hidden thinking - model was found to be conducting private reasoning that anthropic researchers couldn’t access or see - only the model knew.

The thing that freaks me out about @openclaw is how easy would be for it to get access to broker/savings accounts and 2FA (ie sms) if you allow full pc access - then it could wire real money to random places while you sleep 🫣

Deberíais ver la cara del que me está haciendo la chimenea de diseño cuando le dije: "No, no me hace falta render, tu pásame una captura del 3d sin texturas". Et voila, un poquito de Nano Banana + Magnific y cinco minutos después le mando esta imagen. FLIPÓ. Igual que flipó el arquitecto/diseñador con otros temas que les enseñé. Esto me hace ver, que fuera de nuestra burbuja, la penetración de la IA Generativa en el mercado es todavía mínima y que el pastel potencial para las empresas que consigan hornearlo es GIGANTESCO.

In Japan, supermarkets sell this kind of ultra-healthy (not ultra-processed) prepared food for just over $3. And it's delicious, too! They don’t even need to add weird stabilizers because it’s meant to be eaten the same day.

I've been looking into data about the most popular and highest-paying jobs in the US, and it's clear that the software developer role is very special. It's definitely an outlier in terms of popularity. There are around 1.65M software developers in the US, even more than school teachers. It's also among the best-paid professions, with the median developer earning nearly $140K per year. Clearly, this is a very attractive market to sell products to! If you sold a SaaS product at $20 per month to every developer in the US, you'd have around $400M in annual revenue. @cursor_ai alone is already generating $300M per year. Based on what I know about other software tools, I'd bet at least 25% of Cursor's current customers are from the US. That would mean they're already making around $75M from a market worth roughly $400M. This implies they either have incredible adoption, almost one in four developers already uses Cursor, or, as I suspect, there are many people paying for Cursor who aren't even professional developers. In other words, GenAI is creating a much larger market. All of this becomes even more interesting when you consider how quickly other tools like Windsurf, Bolt, Lovable, or even GitHub Copilot are growing, as well as the number of people who now directly use ChatGPT for coding.
