This happens, and it’s horrible when it does. But it’s not going to happen at 80° in a shaded parking garage. Busybodys. I had a dog in the car one time. A neighbor came and told me she was planning to call the police. I looked and the dog wasn’t even panting. Just sitting there waiting for me to come back. Busybodys.

Living in Louisiana means that starting in March our temperatures can easily be hanging in the 80 degree plus range daily. Please don’t leave your kids in a car for even a moment. The danger of someone snatching the kids and the HEAT are real! What appears to be 3 children left in an unattended vehicle for at least an hour turns out to be even worse than expected. Would you have called the police and waited or would you have gotten the kids out of the car one way or another?

@MaryDeWald @cecegkh There unattended is the main point. They not old enough to care for self so no you don’t leave them alone in no car.

@cecegkh 80 degrees is NOT deadly. It won't "cook" anyone. The parking garage provides shade. Cracking the windows as much as 3 inches allows a cross breeze. It should not permit a kidnapper access to the children. If one of the kids are at least 12, they are qualified to be a baby sitter
