On field referee was wrong not to call a foul on Moore. VAR wrong not to call it a red card, clear goal scoring opportunity. Yet again officiating in this country fails to be consistent. Look at the “goal scoring opportunities” that were called in the Aberdeen vs Motherwell cup game, but the Mikey Moore one today isn’t? It’s not cheating, it’s not bias, it’s complete incompetence and inconsistency. Referee Ryan Lee is in his first season as a Premiership referee, he like a lot of referees in this country has been pushed into a position he’s not ready for. Lots of small decisions goal kicks being given instead of corners, fouls going the wrong way for both teams. Willie Collum needs to extremely consider how things are done, and how referees are promoted because it’s getting worse and worse.
