I wrote an article about the current U.S. administration's July 10 change to the definition of "harm" under the Endangered Species Act. This change removes habitat destruction and modification from the definition and allows for critical wildlife habitat to now be used for activities such as drilling, mining, and development. I hope you'll take a few minutes to read it and learn more about this issue. (link below) This is one of the articles I created through my 6529.io Meme Card project (Network for Good). For now, you can read it on my website. I'm also building a living CC0 Conservation Journal, where this article and future pieces will be freely available, along with downloadable photographs, PDFs, and links to organizations taking action. This may take me a bit, but I am excited to share as I create this. I'm incredibly grateful to the 6529 Meme community for choosing this card and supporting my conservation work through photography and writing. My hope is that this journal will make these resources freely available to help educate, inspire, and equip others to protect the wild.
