@Flighty 4. as a travel agent, i would like to look up flights for clients to help give them advice on which one to take. Often times that comes down to the type of equipment that day (A330 is 2-4-2 layout compared to B777 3-3-3) and i cannot see that without adding it to a list.

@_garbagebread Can you articulate the 2-3 most common times you do this?

In design we sought to keep 3.5 flights visible in My Flights list, alongside the extra benefits of a Tab Bar.

@tompurplest @Flighty what if the flight is already in the past? where does it go then?

@_garbagebread @Flighty adding an option to just “view details” of a flight would essentially just be making an exact copy of the “add to friends” button, but with the semantics of knowing it’s not assigned to a temporary unnamed friend of yours that’s flying… doesn’t seem worth developing

@Flighty @Flighty what we have to do now is: search for a flight click on it go to My Flights Find the flight View the details i need then swipe to delete the flight there needs to be a branch after search results....add to My or Friends List, or view the details and end it there.

@Flighty in my personal opinion, that all just seems unnecessary when all i am curious about is the flight details themselves, not who is specifically associated with

@Flighty 1. i have, yes. but my neighbor isnt one of my listed friends because they fly so infrequently and it would not intuitive to add that flight to a friend who isnt actually on that flight 2. needing info about any flight any time any where but not have it auto added to any list

@_garbagebread Have you considered adding that one flight to Friends? can you explain #3? it's non obvious to me!

@Flighty maybe like a long hold and press views the flight as it would appear in My Flights but doesnt add it to any list?

@ThomasMannall @Flighty i get that, but sometimes the flight data I want to look up is already in the past (what time did so and so actually land?) I'd like to be able to see all of the details of any flight, at anytime, and not have to have it automatically added to any list

@_garbagebread @Flighty If you search for it in the friends section it’ll be added as a ‘friends’ flight rather than under My Flights, and should disappear after it’s complete rather than adding to your past flights.

@JimCantore i feel like some of the forecasts missed the wind potential, no? i was prepped for the rain but waking up at 3am to 40-50 gusts in east Broward was a surprise

Pretty wild night across southern Florida and the upper Keys with STRONG GUSTY WINDS and HEAVY RAINFALL. An elevated station near Miami just gusted to 74mph at Gov't Cut and up the road at Dania Pier near FLL gusted to 63. This meso low (which you can clearly see spinning) will be the closest thing to a tropical storm this season for this area.
