@Samthrillz TBH, I didn’t read it as trying to keep Bear in… I read it as Wish Nikki trying to keep the Real Nikki confined to in the house. I’d imagined that Real Nikki probably tried to break out several times that night. So to make sure she couldn’t leave, Wish Nikki taped it up

I've been rewatching #Obsession and I can’t stop overthinking the morning after the wish when Bear is trying to leave for work. Specifically, the moment he walks into the living room and realizes what Nikki did to the front door. On the surface, it’s written as this deeply uncomfortable, almost absurd moment, Bear just standing there in his work clothes, looking at a door that has been completely, frantically barricaded from the inside. But the more I think about it, the more it feels like the exact turning point of the entire movie, and I have a question about Nikki's motivation there. Was she subconsciously trying to lock him in so he could never leave her, or was the curse forcing her to "protect" him from the outside world because of how obsessed she’s become? What really gets me, though, is Bear’s reaction. He doesn't panic. He doesn't immediately realize that something is horribly, supernaturally wrong with her. Instead, he just kind of accepts the chaos. It makes you wonder: is he genuinely that blinded by his own desperation to have the "perfect girlfriend" that he's willing to ignore a massive, literal safety hazard? Or is this the exact second where he realizes he has completely lost control of the situation, but he's too proud to admit his wish ruined everything? The way the movie handles that transition from a quirky "clingy girlfriend" trope to absolute psychological horror in just one sequence is brilliant, but I feel like I'm missing some of the subtext. How did you interpret Nikki's breakdown of the front door in that scene? Was she trying to keep him safe, or was she turning the house into a cage right from the start?

Hey, it’s us. We knew Jovita Moore’s story, but we truly had no idea how much this specific mural meant to the community of Atlanta. Unfortunately, the windows in our buildout cut into the mural significantly. Seeing how much this mural meant to so many, we realize we made a mistake and would like to make it right. Would you be willing to connect with us? We want to hear from people who have a deep connection to her and her story.

If you grew up in Atlanta/ been around a while you knew who Jovita Moore was and you know how the city responded when she died. This coffee shop just moved into my neighborhood and painted over a mural dedicated to her for their signage and honestly it’s not sitting well w/ me

@MattWaldman His footwork always reminds me of the way you describe quiet footwork for qbs in the pocket. Just In control and not dramatic to pressure.

Sometimes the most dynamic moves from RBs are seemingly the least significant. David Montgomery’s mid-crease press is Frank Gore-like. #DetroitLions
