@byerseason Honestly this is canon to me, that wormhole "plot twist" was so empty and dumb that it left the truth about the UD vague enough for me to continue believing this. It's what makes the most sense to me, it IS Will’s mindscape, a physical manifestation of his trauma

upside down should’ve been will’s mindscape. great representation of the evil in hawkins, hard to beat because you don’t know how it formed nor what would happen to will once it’s harmed, would make perfect sense with his link to the upside down

and when you look at the theories about this scenario it was SO so easy to connect it to the previous seasons. the story would’ve been centered around the core characters again while not separating will from them. and it’d hold a lot of emotional weight which the season lacked.

would explain the weird stuff that was going on with will back in season 2 like how he was able to see through the upside down while not being in a trance and moving in both dimensions at the same time. and would be way more interesting.

@byerseason 4 years of the Upside Down in universe and they just then noticed the big ass walls lmao, and the entire wormhole thing confused me because is The Abyss just another planet in Dimension X or is it Dimension X itself? I don’t need stuff spelt out for me but that was confusing😭

@byerseason Oh my god seriously!, everyone kept saying that the wormhole part was good but it didn't make any sense. Like you say wormholes are a SPACE thing, dimensions are a whole different thing😭😭😭

because when you bring real science into it there’s some rules you gotta follow you cannot remake it all and call it science

as a three dimensional being unless u travel into it. so how exactly abyss is a dimension. it’s all ridiculously wrong it’s so obvious they tried to retcon this for some reason when they just should’ve followed it being all fictional evil dimensions

but in the show abyss is shown as a different dimension, not another planet. now it makes even less sense because, what dimension? it worked perfectly when we considered upside down as a reflection of hawkins that exists right there but u can’t see it +

the whole concept of a wormhole is to bend the space-time and connect to somewhere far in the universe. it can take you from milky way to a planet in sombrero galaxy without having to travel 28 million light years.

a wormhole with FLESH WALLS. mind you, a four dimensional thing. and the outside of a real wormhole simply doesn’t exist. it’s not a tunnel like this. it’s like saying what’s in the outside of the universe, space-time. and there’s normal GRAVITY in a WORMHOLE ??

genuinely the worst thing they could’ve come up with. literally offending because that’s NOT how the concept of wormholes work

@ceeyoulaterrr When Mike confesses later he is horrified thinking that his wish made Mike love him somehow and Mike has to prove that he'd always felt that way through old letters and stories he wrote 😖 OWW is such a fun concept if you actually have an imagination and media literacy

Will uses the one wish willow and asks to be freed from his unrequited crush on Mike. But nothing happens. And he's disappointed thinking it didn't work. Meanwhile, it's because the crush was never unrequited in the first place. Somebody please write this.
