@nut3case also working ona Catholic mobile app built with React Native. Uses a Node.js API to pull info from interenet, then saves them to db through scheduled cron jobs. I also built a React dashboard to manage the cron jobs. Once it is live on the Play Store, I’ll share it with you

I was handling a B2C payout flow with Safaricom Daraja APIs where the withdrawal request got approved, but the funds were never actually disbursed.
From a payments/reconciliation perspective, the safest approach is to roll the transaction back to PAYMENT_PENDING instead of marking it successful.
Reason: 👇👇
- if the money never left your account, recording it as PAYMENT_SUCCESS creates a false ledger state and can lead to customer disputes since the user balance was already deducted.
Best practice: only mark a payout as successful after confirmed disbursement from the payment provider.

Can't I speak to an actual human? Now my card is being declined everwhere and my subscriptions can't renew.
When I call my bank, they say they can't see any charge attempt, that my cards are okay. Must I request for a new card from my bank?

Has anyone faced this issue after their Claude account was suspended and subscription payment refunded? Stripe is not forwarding any of the charges to my card issuer. I called my bank to check why payments were not going through and they said my card is okay. They can't assist any further coz they can't see any charge attempt on the card My card doesn't seem to work on any site that uses Stripe, including OpenAI I've tried reaching out to Anthropic with no success(not even sure why they suspended my account in the first place) An account I have been paying for since August last year)
