“Horses for courses”. Let’s tackle what we can now and work hard to tackle the other stuff in due course. We can tackle all ground transport today. Walking and cycling for small and medium trips. Public transport for longer trips. Hailing / shared cars for longer trips. It’s harder (not impossible) to get from country to country without the use of flight ✈️ especially when you live on an island like the UK. Zero emission Hydrogen flight might be just around the corner. Check out @ZeroAvia

We’ll need a rethink eventually, I imagine. We need to seek alternatives, if we’re still around to seek them. Yes, I take scheduled flights, never under any circumstances these days will I go on private planes, but I’ll say again, we’re all hypocrites and all can do better.
