Imagine a father, telling his grown up son "I am just managing your mother... I only married her because she got pregnant for me" See how irresponsible that sounds? This is why there is no such thing as a wise woman. - Female intelligence has a lower ceiling - women are protected from unfiltered experiential exposure by everyone around them - Are too narcissistic for honest reflection/introspection - As a result of all that, insights are neither formed nor integrated into coherent mental models - And without principles to guide action, nothing is tested or refined, so calibrated judgement NEVER develops. There is foolishness then there's its much older cousin; female foolishness. Women are uniquely foolish and it gets worse as they get older

Just as a man in GENUINE LOVE for a woman feels the natural urge to PROTECT and PROVIDE her, so does a woman in GENUINE LOVE for her man feels the natural urge to make his house a HOME. Wherever there is argument/debate over these NATURAL roles, there is NO love or genuineness in there. Such a union is UNNATURAL!

The UK government deported a father, mother, and their 3 children back to Nigeria after they sold all their properties and even borrowed 20 million naira just to relocate to the UK. Tobore sold his house in Otokutu, his land in Opete, his black Lexus 330, his big boutique shop, and also borrowed 20 million naira to relocate himself, his wife, their two children, and his wife’s late senior sister’s daughter who had been living with them to the UK. When they arrived in the UK, both of them started hustling, but it was his wife, Funke, who got a better job first because she was a nurse, while Tobore was only getting normal warehouse jobs occasionally. After one year in the UK, Funke discovered that Tobore was still chatting once in a while with one lady he used to date when they were still in Nigeria. She got angry and went to the UK Home Office to report that she wanted to remove her husband as a dependant from her visa because she no longer wanted to continue the marriage. Mind you, Funke was the main applicant, while Tobore and the children were her dependants. After her complaint, the Home Office sent an email to Tobore informing him that he had only a few weeks to leave the country because his wife had removed him as her dependant. Tobore, being a typical Warri boy, decided that since this was what Funke wanted to do to him, he would scatter everything completely. Tobore then went to the Home Office and told them that one of the three children Funke declared as their child in the documents they used to enter the UK was not their biological child, and they had not legally adopted the child (which is a very serious offense under UK law). The UK Home Office then invited Funke to come with the children for a DNA test. When Funke heard that Tobore had exposed their family secret, she started begging him for forgiveness and asked him to withdraw the complaint so they could settle it at home, but it was already too late because the UK government was already aware. The DNA result truly proved that that particular child was not related by blood to Funke and Tobore, and that was how the UK government bundled the entire family back to Nigeria. As we speak now, the marriage has scattered. Tobore is now in Abuja driving a taxi, while Funke is in Lagos working as a nurse with a salary of 70k in a private hospital, and the children are staying with Funke’s mother in the village.

A lot of Nigerians hear “Captain” and assume it’s the same thing across the military. But no… Army Captain and Navy Captain are two very different beasts. Same title, completely different level. Let’s break it down clearly. ARMY CAPTAIN (Nigerian Army) In the Army, a Captain is a junior commissioned officer. Rank Level Comes after Lieutenant Comes before Major What an Army Captain Does An Army Captain is usually: A Company Second-in-Command A platoon commander in some cases A staff officer handling operations, admin, intelligence, logistics etc. They are respected officers, but still part of the junior officer cadre. Symbol Three stars (pips) on the shoulder. In short: Army Captain = young officer with growing responsibility. NAVY CAPTAIN (Nigerian Navy) Now this is where people get confused. In the Navy, a Captain is a very senior officer, not a junior one. Rank Level A Navy Captain is equivalent to an Army Colonel. Yes. Colonel. That means he is far above: Lieutenant Commander Commander What a Navy Captain Does A Navy Captain can: Command a major warship Serve as a Base Commander Hold top strategic appointments in Naval Headquarters Lead major operational missions Symbol Uses stripes, not stars. Usually seen with four thick stripes on the sleeve. In short: Navy Captain = senior commander, big authority, big responsibility. THE BIG DIFFERENCE (SIMPLE COMPARISON) Army Captain ✅ Junior officer ✅ Equivalent to Navy Lieutenant ✅ Mostly tactical field leadership Navy Captain ✅ Senior officer ✅ Equivalent to Army Colonel ✅ Strategic command leadership SO WHY ARE THEY BOTH CALLED CAPTAIN? Because the word “Captain” originally means someone in command. In the Army, it became a normal officer rank. In the Navy, it remained a title linked to commanding ships, so it grew into a much higher rank. FINAL WORD So next time someone says: “I be Captain for Navy” Just know that person is not joking. Because… Army Captain = mid-level officer. Navy Captain = heavyweight commander. Same name. Different power. Different league.

Growing up as a young (fine) man, people offered me money a lot. Sometimes as gifts, for friendship, or relationships. Sometimes for sex or just to have access to me. But I learned early that free things are rarely free. When people give you something, even when they don’t say it, there is usually an invisible debt attached. You start owing them time, attention, friendship, companionship, loyalty, or access you may not even want to give. I hated that position because I like to choose my friends and relationships on my own terms. There’s a line in David Graeber’s Debt: The First 5,000 Years that stayed with me: “By gifts one makes slaves and by whips one makes dogs.” It explains how both can be forms of control. One is just quieter. Even as a young man, I understood that the giver and the receiver are on two completely different trajectories. The giver is forced to earn, produce, and create value. The habitual receiver learns to wait, depend, and slowly become whatever keeps the giver interested. At some point, you have to release yourself from the take mentality because the longer you live only to receive, the more you train yourself to wait instead of build. The moment I started earning more, I gave more. I did giveaways here. I paid hospital bills. I even handed my shoe business over to my sales girl. And each time I gave, I earned more. Refusing free money, rejecting transactional intimacy, and choosing the harder road of becoming the person who could give is the mindset shift that changed my life.
NASIRU@iamnasboi

Hustle to be the giver and not the receiver.

If you are praying about finances and debts, stop praying empty words… pray scriptures. God is not moved by complaints—He responds to His Word. Many people say: “God, I need money… But heaven responds when you pray what God has already said. When you pray scriptures, you are not begging… you are standing on covenant. Look at this 👇 📖 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1) ➡️ “Father, You are my Shepherd. Therefore, I lack nothing. Everything I need is already provided for me.” 📖 “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory…” (Philippians 4:19) ➡️ “Lord, You are my source—not my job, not people. I declare that all my needs are supplied. I will not lack.” 📖 “You shall lend to many nations and not borrow…” (Deuteronomy 28:12) ➡️ “Father, I receive grace to come out of debt. I refuse to live in borrowing. I am a lender and not a borrower in Jesus’ name!” 📖 “It is He who gives you power to get wealth…” (Deuteronomy 8:18) ➡️ “Lord, release upon me ideas, strategies, and opportunities. I receive the power to create wealth.” 📖 “The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty…” (Proverbs 21:5) ➡️ “Give me discipline and wisdom. My financial decisions will lead to abundance and not loss.” 📖 “Give, and it will be given to you…” (Luke 6:38) ➡️ “Father, make me a giver. As I give, I receive abundance—pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” Now hear this… You will never pray amiss when you pray scriptures. Stop approaching God like a beggar… Approach Him like a son who knows what is written. You are not trying to convince God to bless you— You are aligning yourself with what He has already spoken. 🔥 Speak supply 🔥 Speak wisdom 🔥 Speak discipline 🔥 Speak increase 🔥 Speak freedom from debt And as you consistently declare His Word, your life will begin to reflect it. Stop crying about money… Start declaring the Word. #KingdomFinances #PrayTheWord #FaithInAction

When you see clubs succeeding, never think it’s a fluke. Get your 🍿 Bournemouth are currently 6th in the Premier League, all thanks to their visionary owner, Bill Foley. I watched an interview with Peter Crouch where he was asked why he sacked Gary O’Neil after he saved them from relegation, this interview was in 2023, his response described how pragmatic he is. He appreciated Gary O’Neil but said he wanted to take the club to a new level, they wanted the club to play in a particular way, and the best person for the job was Andoni Iraola. They’ve been monitoring Iraola and luckily for them, he became available. If you guys remember Iraola’s Vallecano team, they were known for high-intense organised pressing, also played a vertical and direct style with priority in winning balls in the final third and quick transitions. This was what Bill Foley wanted. In fact, he said, if they didn’t get Iraola, they would have kept Gary, bt they couldn’t miss that opportunity. Here’s one important thing he said in that interview, he said if Iraola didn’t work, HE WILL TAKE THE BLAME, hence, they supported him with the right players that’ll fit his style. For example, Semenyo. They signed him from Bristol City after they saw his intense pressing in the EFL, perfect for Iraola style. Bill Foley also describes himself as a business man before any other thing. It’s clear what Bournemouth’s business model is, "buy low, develop, sell high", while still staying competitive. This is evident in how they sign players, Zabarnyi from Kyiv, sold to PSG, Huijsen, Kerkez from AZ (Truffert replacement), Kroupi, Rayan, etc. If you have time, please read about Bill Foley, he’s also a funny man. He’s been asked in several interviews that, “why Bournemouth?”, he said because the club was on sale😂. He had the opportunity to buy minority stakes at different clubs but he wasn’t interested. Bournemouth was 100% ownership and that’s why he was keen. Also, they just promoted to the prem in 2022, perfect for him. Remember Bill has one of the most successful hockey teams in the US, he’s very successful in Sports. He also describes himself as a BUILDER, his goal is to elevate Bournemouth. A new stadium is on the way because we all know Vitality Stadium is the smallest, 11k capacity, he wants more fans, especially young fans, to be able to attend games, they’re building crazy training centres for women’s football, the academy and the first team. He’s also leading community initiatives within Bournemouth, same as what Ryan and Rob are doing at Wrexham. They don’t want to be seen as arrogant Americans taking over, they want to integrate with the community as much as possible. Lastly, Bill works with a tightly-knitted team, he doesn’t want a crowd, that’s why Bournemouth are one of the few clubs without an official Sporting director, they’re a very strategic club. I know a club that has like 3 Sporting Directors😭 One of his team member, Tiago Pinto, President of Football Operations, describes Bournemouth as a “peaceful planning environment” compared to bigger clubs like Roma. Pinto came from Roma as their SD, don’t forget he signed Huijsen on loan to Roma from Juventus, and he also signed him for £12m to Bournemouth on a permanent basis. He knew the guy well. There’s Neill Blake, a Bournemouth guy through and through, has been there for long through League Two down to prem, he was CEO for a long time before Bill took over and made him MD of the Multi-Club scheme they’re running, known as Black Knight Football Club (BKFC). The clubs under BKFC are Bournemouth, FC Lorient (now you understand how they got Kroupi), Moreirense, Auckland, Hibernian (I think this was recently sold). I wrote all of these just to show you guys that lots of work go on BTS. Bournemouth are in that position by proper planning. Hope you enjoyed the read?

5,000 Coventry City fans will get a free season ticket next season in the premier league, let me tell you how. In 2023, Doug King, Coventry City owner, told 5,000 fans to buy the season ticket at a fixed rate of £500 across 5 seasons. He promised them that if they promote within those 5 seasons, the premier league season ticket will be free for them. For those 5 seasons, fans had to renew every year to keep the freeze and stay eligible. These ~5,000 fans will be watching every Premier League game at the CBS Arena for free next season. I have praised the Sunderland Owner for his crazy vision for the club, that started paying off. Doug King is just another visionary leader. This scheme was not to only reward LOYAL and committed fans, but also to encourage more fans to buy into the long term project of the club, which was to get back to the premier league. Don’t forget that this scheme also meant that they were guaranteeing an upfront revenue which was a good business idea for a club that was recovering from lots of debts. Coventry were in debts for a long time, in fact, they were sharing stadium with Northampton and Birmingham because they could not afford their stadium outrightly, lots of tenancy issues. Doug has sorted it and the stadium now belongs to them. Doug also re-invested the money made from Gyokores and Gustavo Hamer back into the club. This has brought so much stability too. The biggest call was sacking Mark Robins and appointing Frank Lampard. Mark Robins promoted them from League One to Championship, and also got them play offs final in 2023 where they lost against Luton. So, this was a big call sacking Mark and appointing Frank. It was criticised but it’s later paid off. Ladies and Gentlemen, DOUG KING.

You people will come on this app and confidently mislead people on something you have zero knowledge about. Buying Dangote Refinery shares with a 150k salary will not take anyone out of the trenches. NGX is not a meme coin. Dangote Refinery is currently preparing for its IPO with an estimated valuation of *$40 Billion to $50 Billion**. In Naira, that is over 60 TRILLION Naira. You are telling a guy who earns 150k a month to use 7k to buy a microscopic fraction of a 60 Trillion Naira asset and expect it to magically pay his house rent in a few years? If you earn between 100k and 250k, and you aggressively scrape 20k monthly to buy shares, you would have invested 240k by December. Even if the refinery does a miraculous 20% return, your profit for tying down your hard-earned survival money for 365 days is just 48k. That cannot even buy a half bag of rice today. Inflation will swallow that profit before the dividend is even paid. Let's even scale it up. Let's say you manage to invest a whole 1 Million Naira. A very solid 20% return gives you 200k profit in an ENTIRE YEAR. Is 200k after 12 months changing your life? No. Dangote Refinery stock are for WEALTH PRESERVATION, not poverty eradication. It is for the person sitting on 50m who wants to park heavy liquidity, hedge against inflation. It is NOT for Emeka who's eating from hand to mouth in this economy. If your income is small, take that 7k and use it to eat. 7k is not magically paying your house rent in 2030 because you bought dangote refinery stock.

Make I no talk.... I don't want to say a hard-core truth that will shatter a lot of people. Especially Salary earners. Even if I don't say it, they are already feeling the heat. One advice I will give to all salary earners, is that they should take serious advantage of Dangote Refinery shares that will soon be listed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange market this year July/August. Invest buy Dangote Refinery shares. A word is enough for the wise.

Have you ever noticed how artists cup one ear with their hand while performing live on stage? Mariah Carey does it. Asake does it. Davido does it. virtually every serious live performer does it at some point during a show. Here’s why they do it: When you block one ear, your brain shifts to picking up sound through a process called bone conduction. Vibrations travel directly through your skull to your inner ear. This is how your voice sounds inside your own head, cleaner, more isolated, more accurate. by cupping that ear mid-performance, a singer is essentially creating a private monitoring system with their bare hand. In that moment, one hand to the ear gives the artist an instant, zero-equipment way to isolate their own voice, check their pitch, and self-correct in real time. It’s not just a gesture. It’s an acoustic hack. A technical survival hack. So when next you see an artist does it on stage, you know exactly what they’re doing.
