🫤is this woman not talking too much “I had a lot of suitors - even men abroad wanted to marry me before I met Mr Kofi Aduonum. I used to think the ideal husband was a tall, masculine man with six-pack abs,” Afua Asantewaa reveals in an exclusive interview. The interview, originally conducted by King Asuo-B of Gh Page TV, has gone viral on social media following recent developments in Afua’s marriage. In the candid conversation, Afua opened up about her life before tying the knot, disclosing that she had numerous high-profile suitors vying for her hand in marriage. According to her, several wealthy men, including some living abroad, seriously expressed interest in marrying her before she eventually chose Kofi Aduonum.

@GloriousGod01 Instead of changing his stupid behaviour he wants a woman to come and be acting like Theresa for his useless ego. One of those gfs should hv locked him in prison. Stories like this just inflate the egos of foolish men who are supposed to be learning from Christ and leading..

I have a friend who used to beat his girlfriends. Apparently, two of them experienced his hot temper and physical abus3. He has now been married for three years, and he has never slapped his wife. Not even once. When I asked him if marriage had humbled him, he smiled and said: "My hot temper is still there, but my wife is just a very sweet woman. Whenever I am angry and talking, she does not talk back. She listens quietly when I speak. When I am yelling, she simply gets closer, hugs me, and lays her head on my shoulder. If I get angry and refuse to eat her food, she serves both of us and waits patiently until I am ready to eat before she touches hers." He looked at me and concluded: "Marriage did not humble me. My lovely wife did it with her respect and submission." Above all, love God.

One of my coursemates from school once told me she could do a 3-day dry fast. I laughed and called it a lie. I even almost placed a bet of 1 million naira because I had never even tried one full day of fasting at the time, and I seriously doubted anyone could pull it off. Guess what? She actually did it, even without the bet! Omo, God saved me that day 😂😂😂 Above all, love God.

@Adamthallith You see the No. 10, it's because in Africa when small laughs with you, especially at work, you expect them to be considerate with you when you don't meet targets. It is not that they don't like you, it is because they will carry out their duty even if they're your friend!

As someone who’s been in UK for about 3yrs, these are my reality check (most base on personal experience). My top 15. 1. You cannot survive abroad if you’re lazy, especially if you’re alone. 2. If you don’t keep to time, you’re going to have problems, 1min late can cost you a lot. 3. You might actually stop praying for some worldly luxury if you live abroad, because they’re not so hard to get. I’m talking about owing cars and the likes. 4. Every successful people I’ve seen in UK (men and women) are people in happy marriage. 5. If you cannot ask for help, you’re likely going to suffer. 6. It’s easier to secure work that doesn’t care about academic certificates than the ones that cares about academic certificates. 7. You are better abroad as a married person than being single. 8. You will meet celebrities in random places and no one really cares about them. I think the only celebrities people really give so much relevance to in the UK are active footballers. 9. Your colleague at work are not your friends. 10. Oyinbo laughing at you is not genuine, do not mistake their shining of teeth for likeness. 11. If you meet Oyinbo girl that you desire sexual or romantic relationship with, ask for their ID, everyone in UK have at least one ID that shows their age, do not believe whatever she calls her age for you (especially if you meet them in night club or any social gathering that is open to everyone). 12. Nobody is too busy abroad not to talk to people back in home country, except they’re in prison. 13. If your naija girlfriend japa before you and there is no plan for you to go and join her soon, she’s likely going to break up with you sooner. 14. There is a community in London, that is you take pictures there and post, you can tell anyone who doesn’t know you personally that you’re in Lagos and they’ll believe you, because almost everything you’ll see in Lagos is there. 15. If you’re a professional(doctor, nurse, engineer and the likes) japa, you’ll make money abroad.

You people enjoy eating turkey, but let me give you a small behind-the-scenes gist before it lands on your plate 😂🤣 First of all, turkeys will lay eggs and just… abandon them. No care in the world. Unlike chickens, they won’t sit on their eggs. They just act like nothing happened. So farmers either use incubators or sneak it under local chickens to hatch them. Now when the eggs finally hatch, you’d expect the babies (poults) to rush food like chicks abi? Not these ones. They will just be staring at the feed like mumu philosophers 😭 You literally have to teach them how to eat…tap the feed, make pecking sounds, even dip their beaks inside so they learn the first pecks. And it doesn’t end there… small noise, small panic…they stop eating again 😂🤣 Cold is another problem. Once they are cold, they gather together for warmth… and sometimes end up suffocating themselves. Most deaths happen in the first few days..from cold, hunger, dehydration, or piling. Asides the pest and disease (which I won’t want to bore you with) Then after surviving all that wahala… they grow up and start forming boss. Big birds chasing human beings up and down like landlords 😂🤣 If turkey never pursue you before, you won’t understand. So next time you’re enjoying that turkey meat, just remember…farmer don see shege before it reached your plate. Yes, na your money you use buy am… but still, respect the process 😌

God married a whore. In Hosea 1:2, God instructs a prophet to marry a prostitute as a living parable of His own relationship with Israel. I’ll admit my first instinct seeing this post was to recoil. Then I did my quiet time. In Hosea, Gomer is not background detail. She is the crux of the whole story. Hosea takes her back after she leaves him. He buys her back out of slavery as God tells him to. Because that is what God does. Rahab was a prostitute in Jericho. She is in the lineage of Christ. Matthew 1 puts her there without apology or asterisk. The woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears in Luke 7 was a known public sinner, likely a prostitute. The Pharisee hosting the dinner was disgusted that Jesus let her touch him. Jesus told the Pharisee that the person forgiven most loves most. He did not say she was tolerated. He said she understood grace better than the religious man throwing the dinner party. The pattern is clear, this is not one story. This is every generation being confronted with the same scandalous imagery and recoiling the same way. Because the scandal does not stop in the Old Testament. Paul tells husbands in Ephesians 5 to love their wives the way Christ loves the Church. And who is the Church? She is the bride of Christ. She is not a worthy or befitting bride. She is a people steeped in idolatry, rebellion, and spiritual adultery, bought back at the cost of His life. In the Old Testament, God tells Hosea to marry Gomer. In the New Testament, Christ marries us. The parable is the same only that the stage is larger. This post or this man’s union is not more scandalous than the gospel. The gospel tells us that a sinless God dies in the place of a guilty people who neither deserved it nor asked for it is the whole gospel. The scandal is not incidental to the story. It is the story. None of us gets to be comfortable. All of us recoiling at this testimony are doing exactly what the Pharisees did. They saw sinners near Jesus and called it contamination. Jesus said that was the entire point. So if this makes you uncomfortable, that discomfort is not a problem with the post. It is a problem with your gospel.
