@RagerrrYT Fair enough, both franchises are great. However, Palworld will never live up to what Pokémon has (not just game wise, as that’s all you all compare it to).

And the Japan Patent Office just rejected them for the second time this month
The examiner said the patent lacks technical originality
The prior art they cited to reject it was a Pokémon fan game
The original lawsuit covered three specific patents
-Throwing a ball with a success probability indicator to capture a wild creature
-Using directional inputs to aim and launch a capture device at a creature
-Real-time switching between rideable creatures
Patent analyst Florian Mueller says Nintendo's amendments leave them with no path to securing meaningful relief against current versions of Palworld
Next court hearing is October 1 in the Tokyo District Court and verdict expected November

Gen 10 will be by far the biggest and most ambitious generation for Pokémon:
- A brand new open world game with 300+ new Pokémon
- A new Legends game set in the past
- Multi-region MMO that will remake every Japan-based region in one game
Game Freak is going all in for Switch 2

What makes Palworld so fun is how it combines monster cathing with survival and base building, creating a loop that feeds into itself, pretty much every pal has a use in a point of the game.
