My company 100xed the AI budget per engineer in last two months. Shit's getting crazy pro! We've gone from a tiny budget of $20 to $2000/person!

@SarangSood Must detect early if the executive is from Haryana or Western UP, they will abuse in the end if you don't do what they want you to do 😉

Update Company name: The Park Holidays An "executive" called, asking me to attend today. He said there’s no membership or anything, just collect vouchers, but bring my wife along. I told max i can do is send my driver to pick up the vouchers. He got frustrated, started abusing & hung up 😭

Filled a promotional form at PVR Cinemas a few days ago just to get the guy off my back. Now they’ve started calling. Apparently I’ve “won” vouchers I need to collect from a nearby 5 star hotel… with refreshments, a free 3N/4D stay, movie tickets, salon services. Trying to figure out what the catch is here. Or do free lunches actually exist?

I was recently having a conversation how we would explain our job roles to a layman? I said: I take money away from the less smart and give some of it away to the smarter ones. Is it apt?

@SarangSood That's why one must use prime numbers with fractions like a study by Harvard Business Review concluded that 83.37% people are idiots who believe whatever they read.

People keep throwing around random percentages on the internet, like 90% of people do this or 75% do that, and no one questions how they arrived at those figures.

💥Zero punishment to the pet animal. I totally agree with the pet owners' sentiments that Humans are more dangerous than the pet animals. So the punishment should ONLY be to the pet parents. The human owners are messing with the animal as well as other innocent citizens.
Dr. Shah@ankitatIIMA

💥There should be 5 years jail for the pet owner if their pet animal bites any innocent citizens. More than 100 cases a year should result into a blanket 20% cut on the salary of the municipal corporation staff responsible for handling animal menace.

Today, Linus Torvalds told a Google engineer that his code (updating RISC-V support in the Linux kernel) is “garbage” which “makes the world actively a worse place to live”. Adding that the Google engineer’s code needs to “get bent”. As you might have guessed, Torvalds has rejected that code submission.

At some point here. Json parsing is going to end up being a bottleneck to AI because we encode all the tokens in json for the remote apis. Not there yet but I could see it coming. And I'll be so mad if someone adopts protobuf.

@ibuildthecloud Do you use daisy ui in your projects regularly? It feels like cheating. We go tailwind but then use daisy ui and bind ourselves to strict opinions and choices made for us

Experimenting with Kubernetes can seem challenging having to setup a cluster yourself or configuring one with a cloud provider. One simpler approach is to use one of the versions that run well on a laptop. Kind (Kubernetes in Docker) is an excellent choice. With Kind you run an entire Kubernetes cluster in a Docker container. You can run Kind on a laptop, a Linux machine or just about anywhere. It only takes a few mins to get it all setup. Yashwant Saste shows below how you can install Kind on various platforms and get started using it. I highly recommend this for anyone new to Kubernetes or those wanting to test out new features without wanting a lot of effort to get going.

Never ceases to amaze me how often I see nerds neg themselves into a corner. You're playing yourself, fool! Literally man up and stop indulging in this stereotype of being an unattractive, socially-inept loser. Liking computers is perfectly compatible with success in life/love.
