Day 24/25–Chai & Backend Challenge- Learned build in public & open source contribution basics,MongoDB aggregation pipelines for efficient video fetching, handling “open in new window” UX flow, and file uploads using Multer with Cloudinary. @Hiteshdotcom @ChaiCodeHQ

Day 23/25–Chai & Backend Challenge- Built flexible Like model for video/comment/tweet with toggle (create/delete), Tweet & Comment models, CRUD with auth ownership checks, and aggregation (lookup + pagination) for efficient comment fetching. @Hiteshdotcom @ChaiCodeHQ

@nirudhuuu Class extends class is classical inheritance , but class implements interface are not proper type of inheritance

Quick question: A class extends class and class implements interface, are both inheritance? And if an interface extends another interface, what is that called? Try to answer without searching anywhere

Today explored manual & React forms, TanStack basics, and backend data handling with request kit. Understood real app data flow, deeper form handling, and proper structure. Realised small architectural choices improve scalability and maintainability. @nirudhuuu

Day 2 – Mobile Dev Cohort- React refresher Part 2 - useState, useEffect, form handling. Learned how the state works, handled side effects, and managed user input. Built a mini project using GitHub User API Fetching & rendering real-time data @surajtwt_ @ChaiCodeHQ @nirudhuuu

Day 1 – Mobile Dev Cohort Started with a React refresher - Learned what React is & why we use it, explored folder structure, understood components & props, and built my first React program @surajtwt_ @Hiteshdotcom @Hiteshdotcom #Chaicode #cohort

Day 22/25–Chai & Backend Challenge- Reviewed the journey so far—server setup, routing, controllers, middleware, JWT auth, multer, MongoDB + Mongoose, and aggregation pipelines. Built structured APIs, handled errors, and tested with Postman. @Hiteshdotcom @ChaiCodeHQ @nirudhuuu

Day 21/25–Chai & Backend Challenge- Mapped controllers to routes with verifyJWT, used /c/:username via req.params, chained auth→multer→controller, tested in Postman, returned computed fields, and reused the same scalable pattern across video, comment, and like modules.

Day 20/25–Chai & Backend Challenge- Learned aggregation pipelines for stepwise data processing. Used $match, $lookup, $addFields, and $project to build user profile data. Also used nested $lookup to fetch watch history with video and owner details.@Hiteshdotcom @ChaiCodeHQ

Day 19/25–Chai & Backend Challenge- Used a separate Subscription schema instead of arrays to avoid MongoDB limits. Queried channel for subscriber count and subscriber for user subs, used populate for channel data, and timestamps help with sorting and notifications.@ChaiCodeHQ

Day 18/25–Chai & Backend Challenge- Built updateAccountDetails with validation and $set, returned updated doc using {new:true} without password. Handled avatar upload via Multer + Cloudinary, removed old images. Secured routes with verifyJWT. Used PATCH for updates in REST APIs

Day 17/25–Chai & Backend Challenge Access token short-lived, refresh token long-lived (DB). Built refresh controller, extracted token, 401 if missing, verified via jwt.verify, matched DB, generated new tokens, sent via httpOnly cookies for silent re-auth @ChaiCodeHQ @Hiteshdotcom
