Bravo will give chances to, and put backing behind, the shows that they want to succeed – just like other networks. They know shows need promotion to succeed, especially in a time where reality shows are popping up everywhere. Bravo simply didn’t care about RHOM; it’s irritating.

@_leegray Until you consider RHONY is one of the big five, and seemingly a network favorite. It seems crazy to us as hardcore fans, because we see Miami as qualitatively superior. To the network, though? They’ve already canceled Miami once; they likely had no qualms doing it again.

I totally understand low viewership trumps everything, regardless of quality, but I’ve always felt Bravo never helped RHOM. The network never promoted Miami as well as they could’ve imo. This just really sucks. I love that show.

@Warlizard @300mirrors I came here to say this - centralised distribution is dead as well as the middle class of entertainment. A lot of actors became really well known from doing a series moderately successful movies. Now, far majority of films have to be a blockbuster hit to be made.

No one goes to the movies and more people watch youtube than all of cable combined.
