Guys need some no bullshit feedback If you use Kraken: What do you hate about it? What’s the worst part or totally missing? If you don’t use Kraken: Why not and what would change your mind? You can be as harsh as you like, I’ll take your feedback and it’ll go straight to leadership

the stats for the global user base is 100MB - 400MB depending on how many board and orderbooks you have up. more books + more boards === more resources can you give me the specifics of your board and setup and well try to recreate ? even better if you want to share the board with me privately so i can profile it.

If you go to chart setting > trading and checking "show trades", you can view all trades actions taken It will be represented as red and green markers. if you uncheck combine buys and sells, it will show you the details even if you exited at roughly the same level. Let me know if that helps.

@KrakenDesktop One feature would make me pick Desktop over the browser every single time: native trade history rendered on the chart. Plot all my entries and exits directly on the candles. Then shade the candles behind each closed trade — green if it was profitable, red if it was a loss.

ah. there was api maintenance around Monday for a bit. does that sounds about the right time frame ? I can see that the everyone active had a dip on which usually means people resubscribed. It entirely possible your client didnt fully recover on it's own We can do better at recovery in these cases. ill ticket it. Something you can do yourself as a quick fix is to go to menu > support and clear cache. This will force the app to get everything again.

Missed this. Total portfolio value was showing 0 for 4 days after a release, then I reported it… and got fixed but that’s not ideal. Trades (history) sometimes show partly or after big lag while website updates or shows directly correct. I could go on. General experience is lot of features for fancy trading/viewing/order etc but doesn’t feel v robust and accurate wrt ‘database’ (prices, value, history etc) .

@ScoobyCarolan @Tradermayne Hi. I own Kraken Desktop. Never heard this before. the foot print on most people machines is like 1-2%% cpu and 200MB RAM. Can you give me more details as to what happened and specifically when ? just need a direction and i can put someone on it DMs are open

@Tradermayne My kraken phone app can trade stocks and crypto. Kraken website you need to switch to Kraken Pro. And Kraken Desktop is buggy and completely hung my Mac-like power button 5 second hung. First time that’s happened in years. I love them but the app ecosystem needs polish.

Hey! Desktop owner here. First time hearing some of this since pre-beta. The thing about writing a native client is you have to anticipate and account for everyone's setup. When do you feel like it stopped updating for you? After hours of usage, certain events, power save mode ? Balance and portfolio performance are more accurate mark-to-market than web/mobile in most cases. Does it feel like it's missing info, slow to reflect certain actions (like minutes slow), or is it just wrong and does bouncing the app or clicking off the board fix it? Price & trade history have been mainly tied to VPN usage. Any details or logs your can share would be really helpful. (can be done through the app) I'll get someone on this today once we have a bit more detail and we ship fast. DMs are open if you want to discuss there.

@Tradermayne The desktop app still has so many obvious bugs that I dont get no one spots those. Prices not updating, trades not shown in history, total portfolio value not correct. Like not always, but just often enough to be annoying while the web ui or mobile dont have that problem.
