Inabidi uongee with one of your clients akulipe mapema, anakusomea akikuambia biz haifanywi hivo but anaitikia eventually. Next week inafika unalipa KRA, SHA,NSSF, Housing Levy. Unahave some peace kidogo only to realize that next week ni end month na this time uko na deficit kubwa kushinda last month, and the cycle continues. Kusema ukweli every sector has been affected. From transport operators, traders to farmers, workers, students, and even ordinary families back in the villages are struggling to afford fuel. Hali ni mbaya. It's the same kila mahali. However, calling for total shutdowns and taking to the streets will only worsen the situation for millions of wananchi who depend on daily income to survive. Small businesses will lose customers, workers at the end will miss salaries, traders will count losses, and the economy will slow down even further. Sasa Makanga akikosa kuingia job Leo atakula nini? The government has already deployed Ksh 5 Billion from the Petroleum Development Levy Fund to cushion Kenyans in addition to pegging VAT at 8% down from 16%. This is just the start.
