I didn’t want to make this post, but it’s necessary, given the ongoing misinformation directed at Bellscoin from bc1plainview
Let’s address their claims with a quick summary of evidence.
Billy Markus, the undisputed founder of Bellscoin and Dogecoin, has repeatedly confirmed that Doge is a fork of Bells. This was the latest post
x.com/billym2k/statu…
Even if you don’t trust Billy, there is conclusive evidence on the blockchain.
1. Preserved Codebase:
The original code base with no other running chain has been preserved unlike the lies they have perpetuated.
Bellscoin with the same Merkle root and genesis message “Nintondo” was timestamped 1 month prior to Dogecoin
Proving it is the source chain and that Bellscoin was forked to create Doge, contrary to the lies Danny perpetuates. Check on-chain:
Bellscoin

“2013-11-04 00:12:10”
Proof - (x.com/bellschain/sta…)
Dogecoin's genesis block was timestamped on December 6, 2013, at 10:25:40 UTC
Proof - (x.com/dogeofficialce…)
Now let’s discuss the #1 piece of “proof” Danny has been promoting. That Dogecoin is a fork of Luckycoin because that is what Jackson Palmer, Dogecoin and Wikipedia websites have said.
I covered this in my previous post very well here
x.com/uosofahmadi/st…
But to summarise,
Jackson Palmer joined later and was likely uninformed about its origins. Billy even told him about Bellscoin back in 2013.

proof 2 - x.com/mathbusinessfr…
First, this was never challenged because until Bellscoin started the “old memecoin” meta, no one cared.
Second, the Bells community didn’t care until Danny made it a point of contention. There is misinformation all over the internet.
Third, when this information was brought to the Dogecoin developers, their support for Bellscoin shifted as Danny’s attacks led the Bellscoin community to pressure the Dogecoin core team to update the website.
This is the saddest part of the history because Patrick Lodder - Dogecoin core dev - initially supported Bellscoin but now dismisses it as the Bells community ramped up pressure to correct history on the Dogecoin website.
[“Suck Harder”] (x.com/patricklodder/…)
Another dev’s hostility escalated after discovering the meaning of “Nintondo”. The genesis message shared by Bells and Doge, which was inspired by Bells due to its connection to the currency in the Nintendo game animal crossing:
(x.com/inevitable360/…)
The title of Bells being referred to as the "Doge Daddy" didn’t originate from the community—it was hilariously coined by Billy Markus, the founder of Dogecoin himself. (x.com/billym2k/statu…)
History has a way of repeating itself. Years ago, when Dogecoin introduced merge mining with Litecoin, it was met with similar reactions. Bells’ recent announcement of merge mining with Litecoin and Dogecoin has faced identical pushback

Now to Danny’s Malicious Luckycoin Revival
1. The most damning part of the revival is how Danny pruned the chain and deleted coins from people who had been mining.
- Danny restarted its chain at block 81k, ignoring 1.1M blocks of miner reward. All those miners lost the coins they had mined.
x.com/zachzwei/statu…
Now it gets even more malicious.
The revival was a hostile takeover of a longer-running chain.
You’ve heard of 51% attacks right? Well, this is a real-world example.
Miner conversation about the attack x.com/zachzwei/statu…
Ask yourself:
1. Why did Danny fork the Bellscoin v2 client when the Luckycoin v1.01.0 still worked?
2. Why restart the chain while a running one still produces blocks?
3. Why delete 1.1M blocks and not the entire chain data?
Here’s the truth: As an early Bellscoin community member, he saw an opportunity for profit.
Don’t believe me?
Danny himself highlights Luckycoin’s short-term focus: “We sent $LKY to top 300 tokens on CMC for fun while bored.” (x.com/bc1plainview/s…)
This isn’t the first time Luckycoin has rolled back its chain. Last December, miner wallets were wiped due to multiple rollbacks. Here’s one example:
x.com/maam_eth/statu…
When a community member was scammed, the team blamed the victim instead of the scam explorer they had embedded on CMC:
(x.com/ekeneobi882551…)
When the victim provided evidence, Danny responded by insulting him:
(x.com/bc1plainview/s…)
If it’s not obvious that Danny is a bad actor yet, here’s more proof.
1. Danny’s Deception:
Danny has exaggerated his involvement with Bells.
- GitHub claim to create a facade of validity to his opinion (x.com/bc1plainview/s…)
- Truth is, he was clueless about the development with public questions
(x.com/bc1plainview/s…)
- In his own words, a Bellscoin Noob 2 months prior to the statement made (x.com/bc1plainview/s…)
2. Luckycoin is a fork of Bellscoin’s v2 code. Check the GitHub
Github - (github.com/luckycoin-comm…)
proof -(x.com/montescurociao…)
proof -(x.com/andrew_thejen/…)
3. Recycled Wallet Code:
Luckycoin’s wallet, you guessed it, is another fork of Bells’ Nintondo extension code.
Scroll down, and you will find “Special thanks to [Nintondo Wallet] highlighted in green
(github.com/LuckyCoinProj/…)
One final note about Luckycoin’s flawed tokenomics that Danny never points out as he knows will lead to its failure, this explains his desperate attempts to merge mine and create a false narrative with influencers.
Luckycoin’s perpetual halvings (every 69 days) make mining unsustainable and leave the chain vulnerable to future attacks. Kind of like what Danny already did with the hostile takeover of the longer running chain.
Unlike Bells and Doge, Lucky never stops halving eventually making the rewards negligible and miners will stop mining:
(x.com/luckycoinproj/…)
As miner rewards decrease with continuous halvings and Danny ceases funding Mario spaces and KOLs, support for Luckycoin will crumble. Their control over the majority of the existing supply, the inflated market cap due to dead wallets, and their ability to manipulate the price will become irrelevant. Danny’s history, including his early involvement with Bellscoin, reveals his focus on short-term price pumps to offload coins onto others. When he can no longer profit, he will abandon the Luckycoin community.
Where do you think this endless funding for marketing with influencers come from?
Search his name and $bord or $moto, and you’ll see plenty of people talking about his numerous P&D scams—unfortunately, Luckycoin is no different. They rely on forking Bellscoin’s open-source releases and spreading false narratives funded by influencer-driven proceeds.
I’ve watched Lucky from the very beginning and was one of the first accounts they followed on X, which you can still verify as i'm one of 69 they continue to follow. I’ve spent my time contributing completely free. For a long time, I stayed silent, not wanting to cause harm to the Lucky community, especially since both Bells and Lucky share mutual holders. However, the situation has reached a point where I felt it necessary to set the record straight.
That said, the Bells contributors hold no animosity toward any other communities and remain committed to delivering open-source code to enhance the Scrypt ecosystem.
To conclude,
Bellscoin, created by Billy Markus—fondly referred to as the "Doge Daddy" in his own words—is merge-mined with Dogecoin and Litecoin, ensuring the chain's security indefinitely. It has built a resilient community that is here to stay.
With OP_CAT on the horizon, Bells is set to attract an army of new developers and further strengthen the Scrypt ecosystem.
And to those anticipating Bells’ failure, as Patrick famously put it, “Suck harder.”
