The US government collects about $5 trillion in tax revenue a year. We give Israel about $4 billion a year, mostly through US contractors for weaponry. That’s 0.08% of our budget. So the next time an idiot influencer says “instead of funding Israel we should fund X”.. ask them why the government doesn’t fund it with the remaining 99.92% of our budget?

There's a strong tendency among Americans during wars to believe everything the US Govt tells them, and disbelieve anything unless and until USG confirms it. Yet everyone knows how easily and how often the US Govt lies about wars. So perhaps resisting that tendency is wise?

While the world focuses on the destruction in Iran, we must not ignore what Israel is doing in Lebanon. 1,461 have been killed. 4,430 have been injured. 1.2 million have been displaced. Israel now occupies 14% of Lebanon. Enough is enough. No more US military aid to Israel.
