I feel like people love watching reruns of Frasier and Seinfeld because they felt like the golden age of society. Tech wasn't intrusive, people could still buy things & go out, and you still had real connections with other people....spending more time with people than online.

@drgurner I'm having to do this right now. I contracted for 3" of pine bark mulch and only got about half that. Company not answering my texts but I have not paid them yet. Time will tell who wins but I have the upper hand since they have not been paid.

Jensen says the new definition of smart involves: Human empathy, having the ability to infer the unspoken, seeing around corners, preempting problems, feeling the vibe.

@AdamMGrossman I have about 1 to 2% of my investments in ETFs that track gold, silver and copper. I'm up overall but they are getting hammered today. The rest is in index ETFs or funds and cash equivalents. I call this my play or fun portfolio. I do have some AAPL and BRKB bought years ago.

No matter if people agree or disagree with the actions taken in Operation Epic Fury and Iran... Hoping our troops stay safe. They're someone's parents, children, etc..let's hope they all come home. If there is anything we can be united on, it's rooting for the troops safety.

@drgurner My wife's grand niece is getting married next Saturday. Her fiancé is a F22 pilot. He and his squadron were on the way over and he was sent home from England but two of his squadron members who were going to be ushers will miss the wedding. Glad he will be there.

The far left requires volunteers show ID to shovel snow, but is against requiring IDs to vote for president. Hypocrisy at its finest.

@drgurner My wife has been to all 50, she took her elderly parents on a month’s long trip to Alaska in about 1995. Her Dad bought a new van just for the trip.

@drgurner We planned to go in 2020 and Covid knocked the trip out. Neuropathy in my legs and feet keep me from being mobile enough to enjoy it now. But I have no regrets, I'm blessed to have been able to see the other states and many foreign countries.

@drgurner I’ve been to 49 states, all but Alaska, and to me Utah has the most stunning views, especially in Bryce Canyon. But we enjoyed the scenery in all the states.

What's going on? Do we still live in a society? I get that these are complex issues involving mental health that don't have simple solutions. But when did we accept that this kind of behavior is fine all the time? Very confusing.

The fact that this tweet has 3k+ likes is troubling. We shouldn't accept that <1% of the population can freely terrorize the other 99%. The tyranny of the antisocial minority needs to end. Everyone knows it, but no one has the courage to speak up.
