@GodsonKankani Am not in supportive of taking extra charges from the customer without their consent buh come to think of it, how can one redraw an amount of 5k upwards and only get 8cedis (20 deduction, mtn takes 12)as a commission. Look at the risk and stress involves in this business.

Why do some MTN MoMo agents add extra charges on withdrawals without customer consent? I went to withdraw cash from a MoMo agent, and this guy secretly added an extra fee on top of the standard MTN charge - probably thinking I wouldn't notice. When I pointed it out, he removed it and paid me the full amount, but I just laughed and let it slide. A few days later, I returned for another transaction. It wasn't the same agent, so I asked about him and explained the issue to the person there, hoping he'd pass on the advice. Turns out, I was talking to the boss 😂😂. Shockingly, he said it's "normal" for agents to add extra charges - the only problem was that his guy added too much😲 This is straight-up stealing from customers. MTN already deducts its official withdrawal fee from the wallet - agents are paid commissions for their service, so why demand more from us? @MTNGhana @AskMTNGhana, please educate and discipline your agents to stop these illegal extra charges. Customers shouldn't pay anything beyond the official MTN fee.
