Watched RoboCop 2 (1990) last night. It was kind of a weird look back at the culture. It does the typical corporations are evil thing but also has a bit where the woman trying to sabotage RoboCop took suggestions from the corporate board members and filled his head with programming that amounted to sensitivity training about, being nicer, not using his gun, conflict resolution, community outreach, environmental awareness, making him essentially a liberal activist and ruining his ability to be a cop. It’s wild to see that 36 years later that same thing basically happened to police forces in cities all across the country.
