@0xnirlin I think it doesn’t matter because it’s a competitive environment (especially these days) and this researcher just outperformed most of the people. The fact that he spent so little time just shows how much he’s better than the others imo

I wonder what the long-term effect is of people posting things like: “I only spent 2 hours on this project's audit contest and won 30% of the pool.” Protocol teams definitely see this and might start thinking the contest wasn’t a good ROI. Any thoughts?

This is actually not a “basic checklist bug” because it was related to the fact that different types of events are processed in a certain order and this exactly condition with unbonding after expiration would invoke the chain halt and it’s also easy to trigger I forgot the code a bit at this stage but this was the main root cause and impact so I doubt it’d have many duplicates as it’s a really difficult thing to spot

How can something like that which is a basic checklist thing pay out so much money in 2025? I really start doubting contest efficiency. Is this real?
