@spaceghostyons Idk man. The formula can be updated, and still do the job. If we’re talking about the same article, the writer addressed that specifically, with examples of how it’s been done well (even by Disney). And most discussions I’ve seen are just discussions, not full condemnations 🤷🏾♂️

The problem i have with the disney/pixar black characters being overshadowed by fantasy characters argument is its basically the disney formula. They create w kids in mind so theyre mostly thinking we need goofy exagerrated characters and nobody wants black characters for that
