It’s counter-intuitive to have Anthony Gordon as you center-forward and your AMF (#10) as a 4th attacker and it shows the lack of communication and empathy between Deco and Hansi. Hansi has been vehement on the idea of the 3rd midfielder actually being a 4th attacker and by adding Gordon it’ll make your spine and dirty game worse. To have Gordon as your center-forward signing means that the AMF position (Fermin or Olmo) will be slowly phased out by a midfield 3 of Frenkie-Gavi-Pedri.

Gordon is the perfect Hansi Flick player. Insane aggression, counter pressing, off ball work, decent in 1v1s, insane transitional threats. He’ll cook like mad.

Anthony Gordon feels like the kind of signing Hansi Flick would push for. Insane work rate, aggressive without the ball, and technically secure. Can run in behind,and still hold his own physically. Anthony Gordon Vs Man United (one of his best games btw)

One good thing about signing these english and Premier League players is that if things don't work out, you can still sell them for a high enough price
