@hannaiscrying @whale_collector From what I’ve seen on it she wanted a bit of quiet at that moment. Even a “standard” cheer would’ve been disrespectful. Yes it’s a festival but you’re there to see that artist and it’s polite to respect their wishes

@_perceivemenot @whale_collector It’s a cheer? What part of it means they were disrespecting the performing artist? It’s a CONCERT not a formal setting where silence or rules are required

@hannaiscrying @whale_collector Just because it’s a cultural thing doesn’t mean you don’t need to be respectful of a performing artist though, the respect needs to go both ways
