Paris FC refused the LFP's request to host the ceremony after the match because they had their own end-of-season celebrations planned, including tributes to departing players and a fireworks display. PSG then offered to host it at the Parc des Princes next door, but the prefecture blocked it over security concerns about large crowds gathering past 11pm. The only option left? A quick, no-podium ceremony in the away end. 30 minutes, 1,000 fans, then straight to warm-up. Unprecedented. 🇫🇷

Very well said. So much of online football support is now about silly knee jerk predictions and developing parasocial connections to players that dance about and do silly interviews but have limited footballing ability. A manager that pragmatically builds a very good team and confidently says ‘I will win but you have to follow my plan not your Football Manager wet dream’ winds them up no end.

The one thing that is so obvious in this fanbase is their hate for Farke. The reason? He’s proven them wrong. He gets rarely any praise from certain people on here, but they jump on outing him for certain comments. They want the club to fail, so they can be proven correct

@ChildersRadio The last 3 hosts have been Russia, Qatar, and now a trio with its primary location being the USA. It’s a tour of moral decrepitude and indifference. International football is supposed to be a brief foray outside of that. It will be much better next time in Spain/Portugal/Morocco.

He only played less this season due to injury. Comparing him to Ramazani is fringe nonsense but we have a lot of supporters that love that.

Farke wants ambition and a squad that can compete for things, while also being able to play a more attacking style of play… Then he ships Ramazani off to Spain and completely underuses Gnonto in favour of Aaronson and James. Even in dead rubber games at home.
