Our attendance has improved significantly this year. Now above NA for FSM and NFSM students, FSM attendance has improved 6.6%! Nudge texts have been useful. We use/adapt a bank of 80ish templates throughout the year. Happy to share.

@MrsSpalding We have a nearly two year old who is on inhalers and montelukalast powder. This has helped massively.

I’m beginning to reflect on my first year as a Deputy Head as part of which I’m going to allow myself to celebrate three small wins: 1. More students can now functionally read thanks to our new phonics programme 1/3

Formative assessment is more crucial than ever to assess pupils’ understanding and plan future teaching. I am revisiting my summary of @dylanwiliam ‘Embedded Formative Assessment’ to help staff in doing this. (Also references @teacherhead thoughts on this). Please RT for a copy.
