@_shaavan Twitter no good place for nuanced discussion: JIT routing is believed to defend against liquidity probing in many circumstances. FOAF liquidity sharing was shown to be very effective by just sharing just 1 or 2 bit per channel. So the tradeoff seems worth while

Hey @renepickhardt, got a question! Considering JIT routing & FOAF for rebalancing onions, wouldn't nodes knowing local balances risk potential info leaks to outsiders?
