Tilak Varma's catch yesterday would've been one of those screamers back then. Now it's a regulation catch. Standards have increased a lot as well.

The perfect catch of the season catalogue has definitely downgraded since the 2010s peak IPL period. I remember many absolute screamers from the 2013-2018 phase. Can't really remember anything remotely close to those Bravo, Pollard, Chris Lynn classics in last 3-4 years.

There is a very big difference between Suryavanshi and Abhishek’s game Suryavanshi has that ability to find gaps and also to hard hit on his will and most of the time he will eventually get out if he miss times. Abhishek’s miss times usually go for four just because fielders don’t react the right place at right time.

Why do people think this is a bad thing? literally every country has a sport of the masses which is followed/played by the majority of the population in India it's cricket, cricket is not the reason why we suck at other sports, lack proper infra in other sports is

i worked in indian sports field for 7 years and i accepted truth In India sports means cricket, whether you like it or hate it, That is not changing atleast in next 20 years, we may get 10-15 olympic medals in 1 future olympic edition but india's obssession with cricket will stay
