You can buy these for the rest of your life and beat 99% of traders. 1. $VOO: Low-cost S&P 500 tracker for the biggest U.S. companies. 2. $VGT: Concentrated U.S. tech sector (Apple, Nvidia, etc.). 3. $VV: Broad large-cap U.S. stocks beyond the top 500. 4. $IWM: Small-cap U.S. stocks (Russell 2000). 5. $VTI: Total U.S. stock market (large + mid + small). 6. $QQQ: Nasdaq-100: heavy tech & growth stocks. 7. $SPY: Most liquid S&P 500 tracker since 1993. Put 10-30% of your paycheck in some of these. Your money will double every 4-7 years.

That's a smart choice, imo. I'm slowly divesting from 90%+ exposure to 40%. I'm no longer buying crypto as I hit my #Bitcoin, $MSTR, and $KAS goals. I'm only buying index funds going forward until there's more sound money adoption. Same as you - I don't believe these will go to 0. But I'm okay sacrificing some gains for a more stable, reliable portfolio.

Do I believe cryptocurrencies have value? Yes. Would I ever put more than 40% of my money into any? No. This asset class simply is just too new to trust wholeheartedly 40% is plenty exposure for me. If it goes to $0 (which I don’t believe it will) I am still protected because I own index funds This all or nothing mentality is quite literally gambling 🤷‍♂️
