@Cbb0fe You are simply better off betting on Winamax for France and Polymarket for Spain.

Can someone explain why odds are better on a regulated bookmaker like Winamax than on Polymarket? Winamax has to pay for marketing, staff, licenses, compliance, taxes... Polymarket is a permissionless market where anyone can market make. Yet France to qualify is 1.65x on Winamax vs 1.633x on Polymarket. What am I missing?

Good job Belgium. Out played and out coached us. Made the most of the chances you had when we did not. US played a mega first four games, but today clearly the moment overcame us. Dest was awful from the start. Ream’s shortcomings were obvious all game. Robinson was unable to get it together. No striker behind Balogun has been even serviceable. Christian really disappeared when we needed him (though I don’t blame him so much as I do the inability of the rest of the team to do anything). And Freese made a mega early save but then was timid the rest of the game, resulting in an awful third goal. Adams had a truly underrated World Cup as the glue in the defensive mid and hope he gets the recognition he deserves. We’ve got a great young core and this has been an awesome World Cup on our home turf, excited to see what 2030 will bring us in Spain/Morocco. Hope we see the World Cup back on US soil in 2038. Will be cheering for the this Belgium team against Spain. Hard to see how anyone outside of France / England / Argentina win at this point.

Incredible game and day in what has been an awesome World Cup so far, both in the gameplay and the storylines outside of it. And I expect tomorrow will be the most watched USA game of all time.

This is a decent start to admitting a very very bad call. However, the US should be able to play with an extra man for half the game, since they had to defeat a team down a man for half a game in an elimination round

@CookerFlips I disagree This is a very American way of looking at football lol Europeans and South Americans enjoy the sport itself. But to appreciate it, you need to get into the meta. Know the players, understand the tactics, the rivalries, the context, etc

I spent the last few weeks actually giving soccer a try (watching I mean, betting is still solid) I knew the draws was aids with this sport so didn’t go crazy on MLs But what I’ve realized is the sport itself is still relatively boring to watch, what makes it exciting is the crowds Even the most niche small bars and restaurants having the game on made it more entertaining and that’s why people like the sport 99% of the time you would hear “OOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooahhhhhhh……” from the crowd if they were ABOUT to POTENTIALLY score, that’s the excitement which I kinda get but it’s mainly the culture not the sport itself that’s fun to watch
