That's what I meant cuz why wouldn't he respect Mydei who fought to stay alive for 9 years in the Sea of Souls before managing to come out? And not only that Mydei dies like 10 times during battle yet still fights. You can't tell me Gil wouldn't respect someone like that😭

@CarltonH351876 Anyway I'm not saying I'm right tbh I could be wrong and I did state he might find Mydei's refusal for the throne idiotic. It was just a thought cause I really like both characters and Gil's characterization in CCC is my absolute favourite version of him.

I think Gilgamesh would genuinely respect Mydei a lot and wouldn't call him a faker like some people think he will simply because of looks. Gil loves people like Hakuno in CCC who are very determined and never give up no matter how impossible the odds are against them
