@Kev034719693389 @WestEndCovers @Starlightlondon Then a split track is when you’re essentially delegating out the absent characters lines and responsibilities within the show to other cast members. Hope this helps!! I study stage management and I’m really obsessed with theatre 😭😭

@Kev034719693389 @WestEndCovers @Starlightlondon Essentially there weren’t enough people as normally in due to holidays, illness or injury to do the show. So in a cut show the dance captain changes certain things within the show like spacing and lines to still make the show run smoothly without having to cancel the performance

Well done to Kelly Downing (Dance Captain/Resident Choreographer at @Starlightlondon) who had to cut the show and start splitting 2 tracks MIDSHOW during Act 1 today! #swing
