Imagine a super expensive U.S. warship: it has powerful radar and about 100 missiles.
But once those missiles are gone… it can’t reload at sea.
Now Iran exploits that: they launch a bunch of old, slow, cheap missiles. Basically junk.
Easy to shoot down.
But the ship has no choice. It must intercept every single one.
So for a $10,000 missile, it fires a $2 million interceptor.
Over and over.
The ship becomes a “sponge”… soaking up cheap attacks with expensive ammo.
Eventually, it runs out.
And when it does, that $2 billion warship has to leave.
No hits needed, just drain it.
