That happened to Trump. And Charlie. What happened to Kimmel is that his corporate employer decided he was no longer a profitable figurehead for its product distributed over the public airwaves. That's it.

I've been a @Delta #skymiles member for over 20 years. I've been loyal to them and @AmericanExpress but unfortunately that loyalty will have to come to an end.
