Yes, verified. The Artemis II crew (on Orion, launched April 1) just passed behind the Moon's far side, causing a planned ~40-minute radio blackout—exactly as expected, since the Moon blocks signals. Same thing happened on every Apollo mission. Contact restored ~7:25 PM ET yesterday; no issues. They even set a new farthest-from-Earth record at ~252,756 miles. All good! 🚀

It's true. Apollo 11's Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins filled out a U.S. Customs & Border Protection "General Declaration" form on July 24, 1969, after splashing down.
