No advancements! Just broken desks from the 90s in a tiny classroom, worn out paints and city like cobwebs. No bulbs, no fans, if any, then no electricity. Below standards as a way of life and way of learning.

It's because when you build, you create what you've CONVINCED yourself to be a needed product/service The entire building process is adrenaline pumped. The euphoria of "yessss, I'm a builder!!!" . . But if you'll ever need to start off your marketing, by convincing people to see why they need your product, then you will struggle. This is something I've figured out. When you just built something, you NEED to locate the small demographic of people who are already facing the pain and need EXACTLY what you built. AND THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS. It's very important to put in the "and they are aware they need your solution" . . A very big mistake a lot of people make when starting out marketing, is going after people who aren't aware they need the solutions. It will take a whole lot of energy to convince them to ever make a purchase, even though you know they need it. But unfortunately, they do not have your foresight. Pure psychology. . . Let me give you a practical example If you created baby tech products/services, then go directly to ante-natal to get live feedbacks. Go to kindergarten schools. Have a meeting with nannies. Go to that very small demograph of people who will be your base lining to building your marketing on. A lot of nursing mothers have networks. And one satisfied nursing mother will tell 10 more. This is how you start off your marketing. . . Meet at least 10 people, ask them what their pain points are. If 4 people say similar things, then refine your solution product/service round those similar things. For 4 in 10 to complain of the same issue, it means 40 in 100 have the same complaint. Or 400/1000. Or 4000/10,000 people. . . And after refining your solution, you then offer them to these 4 main people. Who will most definitely have 4 people each to talk to. Making you have 16 overall customers with word of mouth. All because you prioritised 4 people and delivered great value to them. . . This is how to market. Go to where they are. Go to where they are hanging out. If you can do it physically, then it's greattt If you can't physically, then online works well too. . . It will take time. But honestly, what great feat doesn't take time? . . Thank you very much for readinggg Remember to stay hydrated today 💦 . . Your smile is my inspiration ❤️ . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

Tems didn't speak until she was three years old and used music as her main way to express herself She is 31 years old In high school, she was bullied for her deep voice and sang in falsetto to sound more "feminine" Her mom only let her listen to Christian music as a kid. She discovered R&B and hip-hop in her teens At 15, she stopped listening to other artists entirely to develop her own unique sound and identity. She started writing songs around age 9 or 10, but her first official song around 17 was about "a Sunday morning" Almost all her music is created through freestyling in the studio. She taught herself how to produce and engineer beats by watching YouTube tutorials Before music fame, she studied economics at Monash South Africa (IIE MSA) in Johannesburg Tems worked a corporate 9-5 job in digital marketing and quit in 2018 after a devotional message pushed her to go full-time with music She once cooked peppery chicken stew and rice for Drake and his team. They loved it despite the spice... Hehe She's a huge tea lover, thanks to her British-Nigerian dad's side Tems describes her early music journey as being "born in the wilderness" Facing mental struggles and doubters while quitting her job to chase music . . . . You've seen it all for yourself Tems is currently at 39.9 million monthly listener on Spotify. But after reading all these above, you can see why she achieved this. She used the entire of her childhood to do the one thing she's so good at. And then used her teenage period to fine tune her own uniqueness. . . . She has literally spent around 2 decades just doing one thing. Music Imagine you put in over 20 years in your own craft Just imagine how much better you'd have gotten. . . And this shows that nothing beats long term planning. . . So today, kindly sit down and think of something you really love doing. Something that you know very well can open doors for you in future, if you put in more efforts and attention to it. Then take that thing and go after it. Don't plan anything about it now. Just do something. Get that motion. Open that app and create something. Go to the market and get that tool to start. Call that person to send a demo practice to them. . . Just make sure you get your motion activated. And then be true to it. Don't be distracted. If you focus on it close enough, you will be surprised at how much that one thing would change your life. This is what I plan on doing. This is what you should plan on doing. Just do it and be true to it. And do it today . . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist
