Welcome to my page I host The 10 Minutes Show - A quick, high-signal conversation with founders, executives, high-achievers and individuals with a story to tell. 10 minutes. One big lesson. I've interacted with: • Taj Jackson (Michael Jackson's Nephew) • Charlie Puth • IShowSpeed • and many more. The show is primarily online (X Spaces, Zoom, or Google Meet). In-person recordings are possible when schedules and location align. I've conducted wellness workshops and interactions with high-performers (founders, executives, and creatives) and I'm a co-founder myself. If you're a founder, executive, or high-achiever with a powerful story and you enjoy sharing lessons that help others on the same path, I'd love to have you on the show. Kindly DM me or visit the link in my bio to apply for "10 Mins with Vincent the Therapist" #The10MinutesShow

I'm of the opinion that there's a certain joy that comes with being ignorant, then sadness when you get to a high level of consciousness because of the things you begin to gain knowledge on. But to be highly aware and still experience joy in the small moments that make up life, that takes a higher level of consciousness..

Underrated life advice: Have more hobbies and fewer opinions. Learn an instrument. Plant a garden. Build something with your hands. Cook. Paint. Run. The happiest people I know spend less time debating life and more time actually living it.

There's what I call the Bokku bread marketing model There's a very big chance that the first time you heard of this bread is by word of mouth marketing (even what I'm doing right now) People bought the bread at a good price. And it was so good that they openly came out to talk about how good the bread is, at that price And that created a sequence of people talking about it everywhere. To their family, on social media, etc . . But how did it happen? It's all because the Bokku company looked for the weaknesses of the bread industry. Let me list the weaknesses: - Good quality + expensive price - low quality + cheap price - Fair price + inconsistency in taste If you notice a lot of bread brands, you will discover at least one of the above weaknesses that I just stated. . . So what did Bokku do? They gave a solution of Good initial quality + fair pricing + consistency in taste So that when you buy their bread for the first time, it will be the same taste consistency as when you buy the bread for the 30th time. This is the ultimate formulae, and so buyers that get the bread do not yet make reviews at the first 2 times of eating the bread. They make their reviews at the point where they realise the consistency of taste of Bokku bread, after buying the bread for like the 8th time already . . This same logic applies to other bread brands that are making strong waves. And you can also apply it to your products/services as well. A lot of people do not take sooo much research to see the pain points of existing customers that have used similar products/service to what you are offering But if you can dedicate a lot of research and even money to know what your target audiences are complaining about.... Then you will build an offering that solves their problem to the extent that they speak about it soooo much to whoever cares to listen. . . . Thank you very much for reading 💯 You can kindly follow me check my profile @mrhighfoster for more posts like this. If you have questions, kindly ask them below . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

She is 60 years old Wrote her first story at age 6 about a rabbit with measles. Her mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when Rowling was 15. She regrets never telling her about Harry Potter before she died at age 45 Rowling invented Harry Potter on a delayed train in 1990 The manuscript was rejected by 12 publishers before Bloomsbury accepted it, partly on the advice of the chairman's 8 year old daughter. She used "J.K" so boys would read it (no real middle name) Founded Lumos charity to help orphaned children. Donated millions for a clinic named after her mother. She lost her billionaire status mostly through huge donations. Surprisenly, she plays Minecraft with her son. . . . Have you failed 12 times at that particular thing that you are doing? I'm not talking about all what you have done in your life I'm saying that particular thing that you are currently working on. Have you failed 12 times at it yet? If you haven't, then don't you dareeee give up on it. . . You just read the story of a strong woman that failed 12 times at finding a publisher for her book. So you can see that you aren't the only one who will face failures. But if you give up after few failed attempts.... Then you should be scolded and placed in the cold pacific waters for 10 minutes. Lol... Just kidding But seriously, you should brace yourself to fail multiple times. I'm gonna fail multiple times. JK Rowling did fail many times, so you aren't gonna escape it too So when it comes, you can eat, travel, watch a comedy show, go to the movies, bing eat again... But then go right back into what you are building or doing. That's the way to go honestly. Not gonna lie to you. (I have no gain in doing such) . . I wish you the best of luckk and please, remember to stay hydrated today 💦 . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

J.K Rowling is the first woman to become a Billionaire solely from writing. She was rejected by 12 Publishers before Harry Potter was published, which shows that failures will always be a part of your success. So don't beat yourself up too much and don't stop trying more ways.

Let me tell you something real quick in 2 minutes No matter what you are into, you can make it big in it. Bill Gates became a billionaire through computer softwares (Microsoft) Jeff Bezos became through e-commerce (Amazon) JK Rowling became through writing Dangote became through household food items Mike Adenuga became through Telecom (Glo) Etc... . . So you don't necessarily have to do tech tech tech or follow the bangwagon and do what everyone else is doing Just stick to your craft and intensely create solutions/offerings that relates to your craft. You can innovate and evolve... But you don't necessarily have to fully divert. Your heart is where your treasures are If you make your craft, your only treasure.... Then your heart will be in it fully 💯 Believe in yourself and what you bring into this world. That's all what matters. I repeat, that's all what truly matters 🫂 . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

That's panic attack and it's very normal Phillex When I started holding microphone, I would shake so much and even my voice would sound so nervous. How I got over this, is to drink water before the task. Have you wondered why football goalkeepers would drink water after they concede a goal? It's because they are so shaky and nervous, and the water would instantly calm them down again. And regulate their emotions. Water is an emotions regulator. This is also the same reason why you'd see that in a public meeting, podcast, interview or conference, there's always a glass of water at the table. And it's to calm your nerves when they start acting up. . . So take some water before the task And then take things slowly. Take in your environment. Integrate yourself in the environment. Observe your surroundings. Blend in slowly. When you are a part of that environment, you will take things slowly, without triggering your panic attacks Panic attacks mainly comes from your body being in a state of haste and rush. It's racing and just being overwhelmed by everything. So it enters into a state of panic, in a bid to protect you from that anxiety. That's why you will want to leave, or just not show up at all for the event. It's your body's way of trying to shield you and protect you. You are now the person that will be like "No, I'm good. I got this one, thank you" . . Thank you for this wonderful question 🎉

I love this question brother Public speaking is public. It means you are facing a group of people. So first thing is to gradually put yourself out in front of people. In your church/mosque, you can join groups that requires you to stand in front of people At your school, you can intentionally take up roles like course rep, faculty executive, departmental admin roles, event representative At seminars, you can sit at the front of the hall, and ask questions or make contributions to the speakers. . . Gradually, you will grow to see people as your "routine" and the confidence to talk or speak at their front, will increase. Start with these little things first and everything will fall in place. Your outfits, your aura, your intonation or phonetics, etc Some people are confident to speak publicly, even despite not having rich vocabularies. And it's because they started out small and grew to see it as a routine thing for them. . . Self awareness is good, but when you put it foremost, then you will overthink the smallest things "Am I wearing the right shoe? Is my voice clear enough? I have pimples on my face, don't I look somehow?... Etc" That's why I said you start with the places and the people where you are already familiar with. If you talk in front of your friends, colleagues, and people you generally see often, then you will be less self critical, than if you start with speaking to a large concert-sized audience So start with where you are and the places you go to often. It builds and compounds the confidence gradually. . . I wish you the utmost best brother🎉

Let me show you how to build your business on referrals This is Olamide Baddo. He is a globally known singer. Rather than relying on massive corporate marketing budgets, billboard placements, or heavily funded PR campaigns at the start of his career, Olamide unlocked a unique, community growth loop in local street culture . Let me show you how real quick . He first started with street distribution strategy. You see, early in his career, I got to know that Olamide focused on Alaba International Market, which was the historic physical distribution hub for music in Nigeria. He allowed DJs, mixtape creators, and local vendors to distribute his music completely free of charge . . Because his music cost nothing to include on street mixtapes, local DJs played his songs on repeat in commercial buses (danfos), local bars, and market squares across Lagos and other parts of the country People would hear a catchy track, and ask "Who sang this?... and then spread the name by word of mouth across neighborhoods . . And if you can remember, you'd see that Olamide designed his music around addictive street slang and cultural codes (Eg... "Baddo" "Shakitibobo".... "Who You Epp?... Etc) And you'd observe that it was because Olamide put repeatable phrases into his hooks, that he turned listeners into organic marketing agents. People integrated his lyrics into their daily, real world conversations, which kept his brand in the heads of almost everyone without any digital ad spend . . So now, look at that strategy Let's take out the key aspects that made the word of mouth marketing work so well in Olamide's case study . . - He made his products/songs easy to use at any convenience Olamide didn't charge DJs/their softwares to use his music. He didn't charge mixtape creators to play around with his music. This convenience really made the street spread his songs far and wide. In whatever you are building, you must make sure it's not complex to use. Remove any form of unnecessary usage or workflow, especially when just starting. Make it extremely convenient for people to use any anytime. . . - Have a consistent predictable value point You see, Olamide Baddo will always release the next street slang or dance. Who you Epp Shakitibobo Eyan Mayweather Pepper dem gang oh baby Etc... You can replicate this in your business You can be a trend setter in your products and services Whether it's funny customer service, or it's extra surprises in your product packaging, or it's even a fun game-reward system in your business, etc Find something that makes people want to come back, just to keep experiencing that thing. You need to find the small things that will make people enjoy returning to your business, aside from buying the main product or service . . These small things are what will keep ringing in their heads, just like how Olamide's catchphrases probably rang in yours back then. And before you know it, they will tell their friends and people around them subconsciously. It's mostly the extras that makes the word of mouth effective. Not the main offering. . . Thank you very much for reading. You can kindly follow me @mrhighfoster to read more of my practical and relatable thoughts. You may ask your questions below if you have any . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist

Victor That's why there are soft skills Problem solving, creativity, critical thinking, etc Okiki Dft, the skit maker, gifted a huge streamer (DDG) or so... A product of his business. I think a bunnie cap If he can think of that in the short impromptu time that DDG was to show up, it means he is a creative person. He was the only one that did such. Out of all of them in that room. . . You see, don't be deceived brother A lot of people think very fast. They are very sharp The hack isn't in thinking fast when the opportunity comes. It's in preparing the way in case the opportunity comes. Always be ready and be on standby So that when someone like Davido says he is coming to your house tommorow, you will just creatively put somethings together, that have been in existence prior A lot of people are fast thinkers and they prepare ahead. And that's my entire point brother You have to prepare for the possibility of opportunities coming. So that when it comes, you will creatively make the best use of it. . . If you start scrambling when the opportunity comes, you will come off as desperate and trying to take advantage But if you had always been setting the motion in case the opportunity comes, then you will seamlessly integrate yourself into that opportunity, when it comes impromptu. . . I appreciate you for dropping your thoughts brother

You cannot literally get rich by meeting the right people. This is Davido, one of the biggest artists in the world. He came to a streamer's studio named Carter Efe and met with numerous people who normally wouldn't have had access to Davido by the stretch of the imagination But as they were introducing themselves to Davido, I heard funny things like someone saying something like "Touch my head, just touch my head and my life will be better" . . Multiple people in the studio all caught cruise with Davido and a huge number of them used this extremely rare moment to catch cruise. . . Many of the people in this room will have businesses, products, etc and even if it's a gift to Davido, that is branded with their business name and details, and a single photograph of Davido holding the package... Will skyrocket their business's reputation and marketing. Just a shout out from Davido about any of their current business or project, with visible proof, will lead to everlasting marketing material. But unfortunately, only very few did this. Like 2 people out of like over 15 in that room. Some that were their own brand (comedians, fellow streamers) also introduced themselves as such, by they were still considerably few. . . What am I driving at? If you meet people, it's okay to just say Hi to them and enjoy the moment. If that's what you want, it's totally fine. But if you wish to turn that encounter to networking, then you need to have a solid value preposition. Something tangible that is already ongoing for you. You don't know who you will meet and which rooms you will be in, that's why you need to always be brandable and carry what you do on your head each day. So that when you meet Beyoncé, you will have something that can give her value. When you meet Davido, you have something of value. And when you meet Dangote/Elon Musk, you can still brand your value and take good use of that rare opportunity. . . A lot of the people in this room below, didn't ever expect that they would meet with Davido live in any type of setting Carter allowed them introduce themsleves one by one, and some of them were still incredibly shy. They just said their names and that was all. At some point, it was even Davido that started a lot of conversations and was trying to ask engaging questions instead. . . Branding, Confidence and public speaking are my own 3 key areas you will need to work on before ever thinking of "networking" out there. Branding - You work on your brand (whether personal or business) and inject a good dose of professional ethics into it. Always be professional with your brand presentation. Confidence - You invest in your outfits, skin, scent, and your overall body. People see you first before they ever know you have a brand. So look like your brand. Public Speaking - You need to know how to start conversations that are appropriate, and what to say. The first 20 seconds of what you say to a random person, will determine if they will stay longer to hear more. And always leave your conversations open ended. Talk in a way that each sentence you say, makes the other person say something in return. Settings differ. So learn the art of using that immediate setting as the point of conversation with a stranger. This helps you to start a conversation using an already mutual feel and setting. . . . Work on these 3 aspects and I can bet, if you ever meet the right people by any chance, you will make the best use out of it. . Networking is crazy only when you get intentional about it. . . ✍️ Vincent the Therapist You can kindly ask me any question

Exactly Kay People love to share their experiences, their feels, etc A big mistake that many people make is that they talk and don't leave enough room for the other person. The catch to this, is that the other person will bore out of listening to you talk about yourself and your perspectives alone But when you see someone and you talk in a way that they say something in return, then they will unconsciously take over the conversation and will ask more return-questions This isn't manipulative at all To me, it's just pure human instinct Humans are a big body of unshared experiences and knowledge. There's always something to say and share. And when they share, you listen. And listening to them means you care enough to give them your attention at that instance Understand this and you'll see that you will quickly become people's favourite person.
