@garykoepnick State dinner room. Let him build it for his ego, that way it won't be finished in time for him to ever use it. the next president will get an amazing state dinner room though. :) way better than Tents we used to use.

It’s not a ballroom. Let’s just call it what it is. The big ego room

@ShamashAran The cordless ones are wonderful actually. Its just that batteries wear out and the manufacturer will eventually lust for a burst of new sales by changing out the voltage / amperage or finding some way to make the new batteries not compatible with the last line. 2/2

@ShamashAran I go with corded power tools when ever I can. I have a circular saw from 1999 or 2000. it still works just fine. Had it been a 12.4 or 14.4 or 14.6 or 15.7 etc, voltage one the batteries would be dead, and no replacements would be on the market. 1/2

@Nerdcognito The current stewards of D&D are failing so bad right now at so many things. The ruleset is pretty solid, as in the mechanics. But dramatically changing what D&D was... is awful.. lol

Reddit is suggesting wandering monsters are not essential; DMs can drop them. This staple was minimized by WotC & Paizo to make games safe & scripted. Do you: champion wandering monster tables that keep sessions unpredictable or accept the corpo removal that killed tension?

Damn. Wasn’t sure if that was going to post or not. Been a few decades since I built one of these. Long before there was over half a dozen power connections for the MB 😂😂

@cosmicfirepeace why do we need data centers? probably for google earth, and to store all the photos we take of our kids. We should plan out where we put them a bit better. but in the long run, they won't cause harm. probably

@a1337sti Not at all .. ginseng loves shade ... high priced crop. Growing crops beneath #solar panels is an innovative way to use farmland to generate #renewable energy, especially in countries with limited space such as Japan .. why do we need a those data centers??

@Krissy_MeowMom They might have some, but for 99% of people. they get cremated. even if they had lots of cemeteries and space wasn't an issue. They are not a muslim country, and they have every right to tell muslims its cremation or have their body sent to an other country.

I get her, but I've been to Japan and seen cemeteries...I have pictures...it's not a cremation country, unless it's a new thing...I went to a Shinto temple that was like 1000 years old with a cemetery right next to it...
Taya Bass@travelingflying

Japanese politician says that Muslims shouldn’t be buried in Japan. ”Japan is a cremation country. Allocating land for Muslim burials is not appropriate. If they want burial, it should be done in their home countries at their own expense.”

@TimothyImholt Yeah that's definitely the wrong direction. last thing I want the government to be a part of. My house has a lot of equity. At the same time people in my time are having a terrible time with rents, and buying homes. prices need to drop. like 20-40% IMO.

@a1337sti But this suggestion is higher. This is let's keep them higher to satisfy this group and say fuck off to that group.

@TimothyImholt no sides no drinks. $5 maybe upwards of $10 depending on the setting. I agree with Rushi that at 350k, any job would get flooded with applications. On the flip side, how little would they take, if there was no social programs? I'm not saying either is a great position.

I just can't wrap my head around why white liberal women love Islam so much, and hate christianity. Islam is 10x more oppressive in its moderate incarnation than Christianity is in its extremes.
mavsmarie@mavsmarie

@HoneyBearington Has this ever happened in the US? In comparison to the thousands of white Christian men who display domestic violence to their partners? Gtoh

@garykoepnick @MichaelARothman @zydecotil2 Because their navy's capabilities has been so greatly reduced. Risking losing one ship of many to follow through on a threat seems very worth while. Risking losing one of a few ships, now its a new calculation.

Iran’s Navy just 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 transiting the Strait of Hormuz, warning them to stay away. The U.S. response? They cited 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐰 and kept right on sailing. Iran threatened to fire. The American destroyers didn’t flinch. This is a regime whose 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 by Operation Epic Fury — their leadership is gone, their missile sites are rubble, their navy is a ghost fleet. And their response to two U.S. destroyers clearing mines from international waters is to get on the radio and bluff. More embarrassment is coming to the Iranian regime. They’re a paper tiger broadcasting threats from the wreckage of their own military infrastructure, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 in real time. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐲.
