One of my favorite things to do when we work on comprehension is to "experiance" books. Today after finishing Because of Winn-Dixie we had the food from Opal's party. Egg Salad Sand, PB Sand, Dump Punch and Litmus Lozenges (Rootbeer Barrels). @KateDiCamillo @A2Abbot @A2schools

In our little @A2Abbot habitat/wild garden area we have bird feeders which the squirrels love. They chow down in these window feeders but never let us get close. Recently they have gotten braver and keep eating even when you're close! @A2schools

It was a sad and happy day at @A2Abbot ! Mrs.Pawlowski said farewell (but see you soon) she will be an ESL teacher in Ann Arbor!! We will miss her so much but she will be back to visit a lot!! You’ll do so awesome Mrs.P we love ya and miss you!!

Our amazing @A2Abbot PLTW teacher, Mrs.Nickerson, takes care of our little garden area at Abbot. She "Squirrel Proofed" the bird feeders, but as you can see our squirrels deicded they were up to the challenge. Peep the fluffy tail sticking out. @A2schools
