@mariusschober @MichaelAArouet Yeah, we need an integrated capital market with one strong lead stock exchange. But I'm hearing this for decades now. My hope rests with major breakthroughs in longevity to witness real change here during my lifetime.

@MichaelAArouet Nvidia, Apple, AWS, Tesla (+Chinese manufacturers) all rely on technology from ASML, Zeiss, Soitec, Bosch, Kuka, ABB, Siemens, ams-OSRAM, STMicroelectronics, etc.

I think the major problem – besides bureaucracy and regulations – is the lack of a contesting, functioning financial market. EU needs a NYC/Wall Street (public and private equity capital) and a Silicon Valley (venture capital) ecosystem. Because these Mittelstand companies are mostly private or listed on irrelevant stock exchanges like Frankfurt or Amsterdam, the valuations are radically lower than in the USA or in Shanghai.
