I’ll say it louder for people who didn’t hear it the first time. The time is now for the Patriots to be aggressive and pursue a trade to improve the roster. The AFC is wide open and Drake Maye is a super star on a rookie contract. Win now mentality. Top two trade dreams are 1. Trey Hendrickson 2. AJ Brown. The time is NOW to improve the roster. Urgency.

Awful news. Only 62. Was a great player for the Red Sox. Carried on the legacy of left fielders with pride and passion. A feared hitter. Was a nice guy off the field, who was easy to talk to, loved the Sox and loved calling his hometown Fort Myers. RIP Mike Greenwell

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Red Sox Hall of Famer Mike Greenwell. “The Gator” spent his entire career in a Red Sox uniform and was a beloved fixture of Fenway and Fort Myers. He gave so much to Lee County and Sox Nation. We send our love to the Greenwell family.

If both Alex Bregman and Trevor Story opt into their deals, the Red Sox luxury tax number would be at $237.12 MM (per @redsoxpayroll). That would put them $6.88 MM below the first luxury tax threshold ($244 MM). This includes Giolito leaving. They finished 2025 at $248.64 MM.

What happened to us as Red Sox fans? All this talk of moral victories and thank you notes to the team makes me feel like I'm in an alternate universe. Fact is, the team didn't do anything to help themselves at the deadline and the lineup wasn't good enough.
