@SwipeWright @marcedbytruth How so for theism? If a necessary being exists that grounds all of reality, wouldn’t that be the ideal foundation for objective morality?

@marcedbytruth I think both theism and atheism suffer from a lack of objective moral grounding.

Normal, sane, people on X need to come to grips with the following reality The people getting the clicks on X are largely driven by foreign accounts trying to promote extreme points of views It happened when the left controlled Twitter, it's happening now when the right is dominant What this means is that many Americans on the left have been radicalized to think that men can be women and that cops want to kill black people...it also means many Americans on the right have been radicalized to be antisemitic and to think isolationism is the way forward So if you're still here, try to find sane people, unswayed by engagement, to give you honest takes on what's happening...otherwise you're just joining a cult

Finally vibecoded something more liquid glass instead of glassmorphism. AI really doesn't understand what the difference between liquid glass and glassmorphism is sometimes I will create a skill based on that style soon, because some people requested it. Plus I'll develop a prompt so everyone can use it :) And opensource code of course

It was just a few months ago that The Islamic Republic was murdering ppl in the street. They’ve done this throughout the region. Inc targeting Americans. It’s a real tell that many of the same people who pretended to care about innocents in Gaza are eager to defend this regime.

@KimiProduct It’s amazing how candles are the perfect test to see how inconceivably complex tools should be used to build software. I was going to be AB test, but now I can commit to Kimi and ignore the rest because it’s candle looks the prettiest! Thanks @KimiProduct!

I'm scared. I may have open heart surgery this week. I'm 47, kids are barely grown and my wife needs me. I didn't live a great life either. I pushed away Jesus a lot and now I'm looking down the barrel. Say a prayer for me please. I truly need them. Thank you.

I’ve 10xd the quality of the landing pages, advertorials, listicles, sales pages, etc. I’m making with Claude code by including a variation of the following in the initial prompt: “Before you return a version to me have 10 of the world's greatest advertorial experts on subjects like design, copywriting, psychology and CRO review the page, provide detailed feedback and rank it on a scale from 0-100. Each expert should include specific areas for improvement that are reflective of their ranking. If the average ranking isn't over a 90/100 then go back and improve it using the experts specific recommendations and feedback until it is over a 90.” The typical asset I’m making fails 2-3 times and the experts make each version that much better. If you aren’t doing this then you’re getting version 1 everyone, which usually scores in the 60s-70s. It’s pretty wild just how much better the finished product is with this one addition.

Am I Cooked? I will be graduating with Bachelor's in Business of Administration in coming few months. Mark Cuban said the same thing I followed their advice, Used @Replit to build Apps that: - Allowed extra 100-150k in ARR for a retail store through online sales. - Was able to get 75% discount on all Shipping labels. I am unsure what kind of job i will land with that project beacuse every entry level full time job is asking me to do some low level work. Not sure how I will implement my Ai projects in actual work environment. I wish to be in E-commerce/Supply Chain/Logistics Bubble, I am unsure how will my future look like.

@xegisunowoumsyq @TheVixhal But why can’t you both get a different flip? What prevents that from across the universe? That’s the mystery.

@TheVixhal A good analogy for why quantum entanglement doesn’t allow communication: imagine having two coins that always land the same way when flipped. You and someone across the universe get matching flips, but neither of you controls the outcome. Shared randomness isn’t communication.

Quantum entanglement allows faster-than-light communication is one of the worst myths in quantum mechanics, spread by so-called science YouTubers who oversimplify everything for clicks. They make it sound like quantum entanglement is some kind of cosmic messenger that shares information between two particles. First of all, in quantum mechanics, entanglement does NOT mean communication. Entanglement means correlation. And correlation is not information transfer. So let’s be clear. Entangled particles do not send signals to each other. Nothing travels between them at the moment of measurement. No energy, no information, no message. First we need to understand what entanglement actually is. Entanglement means two particles are described by one shared wavefunction, not two independent ones. Their properties are linked in the mathematical description, not by a physical wire or signal. Now you might think: If I measure one particle and instantly know the state of the other, isn’t that information traveling faster than light? No. That information update happens in your knowledge, not in space. Simple analogy. You put a red ball in one box and a blue ball in another box. You shuffle the boxes and send them far apart. When you open one box and see a red ball, you instantly know the other box contains the blue ball. Did information travel? No. The correlation was fixed at the time of packing, not at the time of opening. Quantum entanglement works the same way, except the properties are not predefined classically, the system is described probabilistically, and the correlation is encoded in the wavefunction. Still, no signal is sent. Now the important part people always skip. You cannot use entanglement to transmit information. Why? Because measurement outcomes are fundamentally random. You cannot choose the result you get, so you cannot encode a message. The distant particle’s measurement statistics remain exactly the same whether you measure your particle or not. From the other side, everything looks like random noise. Only after both observers later compare their results using classical communication, which is limited by the speed of light, do the correlations become visible. So no faster-than-light signaling is happening. Entanglement does not violate relativity, does not break causality, and does not allow instant communication across space. It is simply a non-classical correlation structure built into quantum states.

@karpathy @bcherny I find myself asking to reverse the prompt. “Given my problem and your capabilities, what’s the best prompt to solve this in one shot, and what would I need to provide upfront?” I have no clue if this is a valid approach, but it works for me. I would love both of your feedback.

I've never felt this much behind as a programmer. The profession is being dramatically refactored as the bits contributed by the programmer are increasingly sparse and between. I have a sense that I could be 10X more powerful if I just properly string together what has become available over the last ~year and a failure to claim the boost feels decidedly like skill issue. There's a new programmable layer of abstraction to master (in addition to the usual layers below) involving agents, subagents, their prompts, contexts, memory, modes, permissions, tools, plugins, skills, hooks, MCP, LSP, slash commands, workflows, IDE integrations, and a need to build an all-encompassing mental model for strengths and pitfalls of fundamentally stochastic, fallible, unintelligible and changing entities suddenly intermingled with what used to be good old fashioned engineering. Clearly some powerful alien tool was handed around except it comes with no manual and everyone has to figure out how to hold it and operate it, while the resulting magnitude 9 earthquake is rocking the profession. Roll up your sleeves to not fall behind.
